Let me preface this review with the fact that I had been in severe tooth pain for about 2 weeks straight, living off of Ibuprofen and tylenol. On my journey to figure out what was going on with my tooth, I went to 3 different dentists who couldn't figure out the issue. It wasn't until Dr. Dan Smith walked in the room that I felt a rush of reassurance, trust, and kindness. Dr. Dan has an incredibly caring bedside manner mixed in with the utmost professional demeanor in his responses to your questions. He took his time with my care, listened to my complaints until I was done giving him all the information that was important to me, and he reassured me with confidence in his answers. I cannot recommend this establishment and Dr. Dan enough. For the first time I felt cared about and that I was in good hands. It took Dr. Dan no more than a couple minutes to come up with the cause to all my tooth pain / issues. Their pricing is beyond fair compared to the surrounding dental offices. The entire staff up front was helpful and thorough. It was the most pleasant experience I've had going to a dental office in my 32 years of life. Thank you Dr. Dan and Bark River Dental! They told me they would try and move some things around and they called me back within an hour with a same day appointment. When I got there they could tell I was in a lot of pain and they took the time to hear me out and work through some tests to help me find a solution. While they didn't see any obvious issues, they did call a partner specialist while they were in the room with me to try and get me seen by them that day. I'm super grateful to Dr Plecas and his team for accommodating me when I needed help, and making sure they took the time to work through it all. They are always super nice, non-judgemental and take great care of their team and staff. I've been very self conscious for the past 8 years of my life, as my previous crowns were terrible. The first issue is with the dentist and his hygienist. I told them that I do have anxiety when going to the dentist. They put headset on me and the TV on above. Me asked me if that was okay and walked away. They assumed that I could not hear them as I had the headset on. I could hear them talking about me and it was not very nice. I will not go into the details, but I was not very happy to hear that and it made me very uncomfortable. So uncomfortable that I would not return to them. My second issue is that they billed me and then put me in collections before they'd even finish treatment on my issue. How can I pay for something that hasn't been finished yet? As I said, it has nothing to do with how the work went. It has to do with the office politics and them thinking people can't hear them in them talking about them. Very unprofessional, not at all like the rest of the office
