The home is spacious with a huge backyard and is very comfortable. Knowing that my mom is getting great, consistent care, is so comforting to me and the communication with the owner and caregivers has been excellent! I feel like I made a great choice and I'm very thankful! I would highly recommend this home to others.

The home is always clean and bright. My father is always clean, bathed, and dressed in clean clothes. The grounds are beautiful and enjoyed by the residents when weather allows. The owner, Nucharee Yokdang, is very knowledgeable about running an assisted living/group home, including being able to help with all the necessary paperwork for long term care reimbursement and hospice. She knows just what the elderly need from a care perspective and is always looking for ways to improve their quality of life. The Holiday parties and other activities they do are wonderful for residents and family members. The whole staff treat their residents with such love, care, and respect, you can tell they view them as part of their own extended family. The greatest compliment that I can give though is the fact that my father calls it HOME! I feel so blessed there is such a wonderful place with amazing people for my father to spend his last years. She's had some…read morepretty severe health bouts along with hospital and rehabs so many times in the last 2 1/2 years we have lost count.. it's taking a huge toll on her on her health and she won't recover in some aspects, let alone be able to take care of herself and her house at the same time for she lived alone. Everybody at Amy's Eden has welcomed us and treated us like family, very patient with our emotional state and most of all our mothers, within 2 days her blood pressure was extremely lower, she is at ease, she looks great, stress level much lower, no long scared for she is never alone, She has been there 3 months and no trips to the hospital that is amazing right there, she's even putting their address as hers on her outgoing mail, that might not seem like a big deal but it is for anybody who has done this before as we have with grandparents. Don't get me wrong it's been extremely taxing and difficult for her but she's came to accept this life transition and she's stronger and healthier then she has been in a long long time and so very grateful. She is thriving there and the goal is to get her into a independent facility or semi assistant living place but It looks like she's gonna be happy right where she is. She's letting somebody take care of her it's a beautiful thing to watch considering before her whole day consisted of a check sheet with just a few goals... getting out of bed, getting showered, getting to the kitchen to eat, to couch, not falling, and not forgetting to take her meds that's about all she could accomplish in a day and on a good day a load of laundry. She was a prisoner in her own home and so was I and her boyfriend..for I was running two households and taking care of her too. Now she has a much better quality of life and she's so relieved not having to rely on me and her boyfriend for everything, as a mother her guilt in that was huge. I hope this helps the family of somebody that's transitioning or the party that needs to transition..for us we had to change our way of thinking, it's all about state of mind, acceptance and a willingness to let go. I have a new mojo it goes like this ...I can't He can I think I will let Him. Thank you Amy's Eden's Senior Care you all literally saved my mom's live.

It has taken me over a year to be able to write this review…read more During our interview process Deena of Amy's Eden assured our family over & over that this was the place for dad and that the staff was extremely well trained and he would be very well cared for. The home was bright, airy and very clean. My dad lived there for 10 days. On the 10th day he had to be transported to the hospital where he died 4 days later. In his time at Amy's Eden he was overdosed twice. Once due to hospice that we were told we had to use, not by Amy's Eden. Once because the Any's Eden caregiver did not know how to read or fill out the medication log. My step-mom, sister and myself spent the first 7 days at Amy's to help make sure dad was settled and this was the right place for him. In those 7 days we essentially did the job of the caregiver day and night while trying to work with a new hospice regarding medications. On his last Friday a caregiver said it was time to let them do their job and care for him. For $20,000 we sure thought so. We checked in via phone on Sat and Sun and were assured all was well. They claimed he was taking his medications, eating and overall settling in. To say we were beyond thrilled is an understatment. During our visit on Monday we had to immediately call in the hospice nurse who had us transport to the hospital. He was covered in bruises, there was a hole in the wall and they were feeding him food while he was almost completely incoherent. My dad died of aspiration pneumonia complicated by COVID 4 days later. More than one staff member was positive for COVID while being at the house, with no mask, interacting with other staff and the 2 residents. 10 days for $20,000 and no consequences for their actions. Amy's Eden really knows what to say to take advantage of families during a most vulnerable time. If you are looking for a very expensive and quick end to your loved one's life Amy's Eden is the place for you.

Patient medication is locked up and dispersed by the caregiver, my grandmother ran out of her medication, and we were left to call the pharmacy to get the prescription refilled and a rush delivery, thank goodness we did not have to contact the doctor to get the refill, that could have caused more delay in getting her prescription to her. The phone was disconnect several times and we could not get through to the house, my grandmother used a care takers cell phone to call us, again excuses as to why the phone was not in working order.  The worst part, (the month December 2017), there is a mouse infestation, that has not been taken care of. Many other families have seen the mice in action in the living area climbing out of a recliner, my grandmother had mice in her closet, she also saw one run out of her room into bathroom. When we moved my grandmother yesterday, 12/30/17, her clothes had mouse droppings stuck to them in the closet, there was mouse droppings all in the closet and along the baseboards throughout the house and hallway. No one ever cleaned her room, when we moved her, the dirt and dust poured out of her belongings.  The caregivers are always changing, and the family or patient is never notified of the changes, who the caregivers are or their credentials. The owner is very unprofessional, and very good at making excuses or telling you what you want to hear, to smooth things over to keep your family member there or you happy.

Our family member lived in the memory care unit at Clearwater at Rancharrah for approximately one year. Initially, things seemed acceptable, but the quality of care declined significantly over time. We ultimately felt we had no choice but to remove him urgently. There appeared to be a serious staffing shortage, and the employees who were there seemed overwhelmed. Unfortunately, the residents were the ones who suffered. During multiple visits, we found our loved one still in bed late in the day because no one had helped him get up since the morning. On more than one occasion, he was calling out in pain and had not been checked on. Personal belongings also went missing multiple times, and when we raised these concerns with the executive director, the response was dismissive and unhelpful. What we witnessed went far beyond occasional mistakes or forgetfulness. We believe it reflected a pattern of neglect toward vulnerable residents who depend entirely on staff for their daily care and safety. The overwhelming sense of relief we felt after moving him out says everything about our experience. I strongly encourage families to carefully consider other options. If your loved one requires attentive, compassionate memory care, I would not recommend this facility based on what our family experienced. We hope this review helps others make an informed decision.

I know in our case that the staff have treated our loved one with respect and kindness from day one. I have had several opportunities to interact with the administrators and each interaction has been helpful and professional. In the course of the year they have implemented several programs that have enhanced the safety and care provided to the residents. Everyone from the front desk to the executive director has been cooperative, understanding and most responsive. The facility itself is beautiful, the food is excellent, and there are all kinds of activities for the residents and their families. I couldn't be more pleased with Clearwater at Rancharrah. Bruce S

Most importantly, I can't say enough about how caring and professional the staff at Good Old Days are. They cared for my father with generous warmth, personal attention, and a gentle sense of humor. After a difficult experience at a fancy assisted living facility it was a great relief to know he was truly being cared for at Good Old Days. They aim for a genial family atmosphere, and they certainly succeed. The team who cared for my father is top notch. There was a short period of adjustment as my father adapted to a new location and new faces, but the care team were so welcoming and proactive in learning his personal needs that he settled in quickly and comfortably. They were equally welcoming to me and my family when we visited. I spent many hours at Good Old Days and can sincerely say I enjoyed getting to know the staff and residents. As his disease progressed they continued to care for him with great kindness and competence. Renate and Dietmar own and manage the Good Old Days group homes with an attentive eye to the comfort and well-being of their residents. They, and the staff they hire, truly care about the people whose comfort they are entrusted with. She answered my questions completely. The rooms here are private rooms each with private bathrooms. There is room for larger beds if a couple wants to move in together or 2 twin beds and chairs and dresser etc. Each resident brings their own furniture, TV etc. This facility now offers one "house" with independent living. This facility is VERY DIFFERENT from other larger assisted living homes. It is more like a group of individual group homes. Each residence has a group of caregivers. NOTE: The 2nd person fee on price sheet is applied when a second person lives full time in the same room but does not need assisted living. What totally attracted me to Park Place was that they would allow me to sleep over without charge and pay $5 for a meal if I wanted. This was very attractive to me. I was ready to move my husband here because of that ability. The only reason I did not move him here was because it was 15-20 minutes away from my home and I found a small group home 1.4 miles away that also allows me to sleep over if I want. I highly recommend Park Place to anyone considering a care facility for a loved one. It's beautiful and the manager Carla is very helpful. If you find this review helpful PLEASE VOTE!
