Since the original review on this dealership by Steve C., the dealership has changed hands and…read morelocations. The lady had a little 250 cc. off-brand bike custom painted and at the painter's suggestion hired the guys from Rubber City to transport it to our home. (It was winter.) They wouldn't accept payment for the delivery! They broke a mirror in transit and said they would replace it. (Yeah, yeah, I've been lied to by the best! No way these guys are going to reach into their pockets to replace that mirror after hauling the bike for free!) Three weeks from now having not heard from them, we'll call them and if we can find someone that remembers this event, the part will be on back-order or unavailable or some such hooey, and bit by bit we will be hung out to dry! Lo and behold they ordered the part, got it, and called to offer to install it! Free! Whoa! A 21st century business not only offering to do the right thing, but then subsequently honoring their word? Que pasa? Is it 1950 all over again? I thought Neiman-Marcus was the only retailer in the world holding onto those values! We offered to pick it up, and wouldn't you know....the lady starts to salivate the moment we hit the showroom.....and they don't have a cafeteria! In casual , friendly conversation with the salesman, she talked about a possible trade-in, $ figures were casually exchanged for both trade-in and purchase and of course when she bit, they had to be taken to the manager..... Yeah I've been down this road before... the manager won't buy it...he hates everything! What's this? With one effort at a marginal dropping of the trade-in number they stuck to the deal! Delivered the bike for free. (It was still winter.) Then they enrolled her in one of their motorcycle training courses,..... for free yet! Two 4.5 hour classrooms and two full days of riding training! Then they talked about all the events, runs, gatherings etc that both the dealership and even the salesman sponsor. Holy Throttle, Batman! Everyone we've encountered, AT BOTH FACILITIES; truck drivers, helpers, sales staff, repair people, managerial staff ,et al, has been EXTRAORDINARILY nice, helpful and geniunely happy to be of service. While she was taking the class, (in Dover OH at another commonly owned store), the experience was the same. One day after class, she was in the dealership and the owner had a spread of hot food laid out for staff and customer and guest's consumption. When she stated how nice it was, one of the staff indicated they did the same thing EVERY WEEK! Wow! Not only do these people know how to deal with customers, but are the same with employees!! I don't know the owners, but I'd love to meet them if for nothing other than to congratulate them on how they run their business! For every business I encounter that is remotely like this one there are two-hundred I've encountered that just shouldn't be in business!! Kudos Mr. City ... you know your craft!
