But, it is Dr. Kurzynske who makes one feel like a real person with real value with real issues. He listens attentively, probes to ascertain issues, is not rebuffed by questions, and makes his patients feel like they've been heard and receiving the best medical attention and actions that a primary care physician could offer. He is knowledgeable and trusted to be current in that knowledge. He views patients as whole persons, physically, mentally, and emotionally. He sees the patient in context of their circumstances (i.e., impacted by needs resulting from work and family situations). His compassion is real and comforting. He is forthright in positive and helpful ways. His sense of humor is appreciated. Dr. Kurzynske is one in a billion!

What made it worse was witnessing the way she was spoken to during her care with Dr. Meadors. During an incredibly vulnerable and devastating moment, I heard my wife being yelled at by a physician and watched as she felt her concerns, emotions, and pregnancy loss were being dismissed. As her husband, I was shocked and outraged by the interaction. Other members of our family heard it as well and were equally disturbed. This was not simply my wife being emotional because of what she was experiencing. We witnessed the interaction ourselves. No woman going through the loss of a pregnancy should feel belittled, dismissed, or spoken to harshly by the medical professionals entrusted with caring for her. My wife deserved compassion, patience, professionalism, and dignity. Instead, she left the experience hurt and deeply disappointed, and as her husband, it was extremely upsetting to see her treated that way when she was already grieving. Our family will not forget this experience. Based on what I personally witnessed and how my wife was treated during such a vulnerable time, I cannot recommend this practice.

While I was waiting in the lobby for my insurance to be verified I saw the owner aggressively ripping up papers and yelling at one of the Doctors, saying he would fire her if she used a certain medical office for referrals. If I requested a a record to be faxed, it was never received. If I left a message for a callback, I never received the callbacks.
