My wife and I needed to hire cleaners to prepare a property we own for incoming renters. We hired Summit Cleaners based on the reviews and service we had seen posted online. The cleaners arrived and were unable to complete the property cleaning in a single day, and stated they would be back the next day to finish. The cleaners never arrived to finish the job. After multiple attempts to get a hold of them, we received no response, and instead our tenant had to complete the cleaning themselves due to them needing to move out of their previous place by a certain date. This is 1) embarrassing for us as renters, and 2) expensive, as we paid $600 for their services, and again after multiple attempts to reach them we are unable to receive any kind of reimbursement. I would not recommend Summit to anyone, and will certainly never use their services again. read more

Valuable items missing from house after first cleaning :( I saw great reviews and did plenty of research before choosing this company to clean our home, but unfortunately our experience was the worst case scenario. The cleaning was fine (about 4 hours for 1100 sq ft) for the first time and overall we were going to continue with the service... until I realized as soon as the technician left I was missing an expensive ring and pair of earrings. They were in a closed cabinet in a jewelry dish with other items, but only a single ring and earrings were missing. I was wearing them the night before and I had seen them in the dish prior to the technician arriving. First call - the company was apologetic and offered 20% off our service and told us to file a police report and they would ask the technician to look further as "maybe it was caught in her feather duster" Second call - (we gave them the long weekend and did not yet file a police report) the company was still apologetic, but offered no further assistance. I told them I would give them 24 hours further as all I wanted was the ring back because it was very sentimental to me! Third call - they apologized again and said the most they could offer was 40% off our cleaning and our only next step was to file a police report. Quite a bummer to still pay 60% of the cleaning (as well as a generous tip) only to have sentimental/expensive items go missing. I mentioned I would be leaving a review to share my experience, which they then offered a full refund of our cleaning. Overall, I am super disappointed, & while I don't blame the company, I would not certainly not trust their technicians in my home ever again. I was also disappointed the only solution they had was to file a police report and they only offered a refund when I mentioned I was going to leave a review. It seems like they should have a better solution and/or insurance if something like this happens. I was looking for something to make my life a bit easier with a cleaning service, but instead have been handed a massive headache and disappointment. read more

Kat + Roosevelt did a fantastic job taking good care of our home. We scheduled a top to bottom deep clean of our first floor. Took about 2 hours while I worked from home on a different floor. Most of the time I had to reclean or call them to come back. This last cleaning i had enough! For the money I was spending, it was extremely mediocre. The first picture is the Swifter pad that cleaner used, the rest are the pads I used to clean the floors. The dirt was visible to me, I don't know how the cleaning person didn't see it. Let alone use one pad to vlesn a whole house of wood and tile floors. read more

Having cleaned homes and office buildings professional I had high expectations of the cleaning techs. Cindy and Paulina came for the initial deep clean and did a fabulous job. My husband even spotted Cindy with a toothbrush cleaning the tracks in our dirty shower! The walk through at the beginning and end of the session was a great touch to gather what are expectations were and what the team cleaned. We specifically asked for Paulina back for our bi-weekly cleaning and she has been terrific. She is so professional, polite and very thorough. Summit cleaning promised to come out and do a move-out cleaning. I was under the impression that they would clean out the refrigerator. They did not. That may have been our misunderstanding. But one would think that would be included in the move out package and not an extra charge. However all the fans were left untouched and that was part of the cleaning package we paid for. We called them and they said the 24 hour period for reporting things like that had expired so they were not obligated to come back out and do what we paid them to do. I would never use them again and I would never recommend them again. We paid them close to $400. We even tipped each cleaner $20 just to be nice without realizing that they hadn't done their complete job. That's on us but I still would not use them again read more

Too many unreasonably guidelines. $100 limit if cleaner breaks something. Have to pay 1/2 of service if service cancelled. No exceptions. If you get sick during the night or go to the hospital, still have to pay 1/2 of service. Customer works for them. read more

Unacceptably rude... I just had my home cleaned two days after my knee placement surgery, and at home with my walker. I informed the technician that I would stay out of her way in a quest room. During those two hours, I needed to get something down the long hall using my walker. It was obvious I was headed her way. She did not attempt to move the vacuum cord, so I had to lift my walker over it. She gave no acknowledgement of my special need. When I got to the other area she had just vacuumed, I noticed several spots on the floor that still had debris left. I asked her if she was done with that room and was told yes. I pointed out the spots she missed and she started raising her voice saying that "well, that's your vacuum". I continued to question the incomplete cleaning and she started yelling at me and said she doesn't have to take that abuse from me. She then stormed out of the house and called her supervisor. Her loud yelling could be heard by my neighbors outside, and her negative comments about me were embarrassing! After speaking to the owner of Summit Cleaning the next day, she said there was no way to prove who started the "altercation" and she values her employee, so she is "dropping me" after 6 months. To me, this is a company who doesn't value their customers. The cleaning services have been spotty with areas consistently missed. read more

The service is fantastic - our home sparkles after Mikayla cleans it, and Tetiana, the owner, has been very responsive and flexible when we have needed to reschedule a cleaning. We are working parents with a giant breed dog and a cat, so the house is pretty dirty by cleaning day; it's such a treat to see the transformation from Mikayla's work! She is also very comfortable working with the animals in the home, and engages our preschooler in conversation.
