Privacy Violations: During my time under Dr. Bachmann's care, I observed unauthorized individuals present during sensitive medical appointments without prior consent or introduction. This showed a complete disregard for patient privacy and standard clinical protocols. ​3. Lack of Accountability: This clinic appears to operate without independent oversight. Because it is family-run, there is no neutral escalation path for grievances. When a provider fails you here, there is no one to hold them accountable. ​Context: I was transferred to Dr. Bachmann only after my previous provider at this location (Dr. Gavin Meany) was removed due to criminal legal proceedings. While other reviews are correct, they do require a $200 deposit for your appointment, that $200 is used towards co-pays and any fees. In my case, I was tired of going through the gamut with poor quality providers and wanted someone that was thorough, so I was willing to pay up front based on the referral I received. Once again, I'm so thankful I did - Angela has changed my life drastically, for the better. From day one, Angela listened to my concerns and the struggles I was having, while validating what I was feeling and explaining why I was feeling that way. She is passionate about the work that she's doing and it shows in her commitment to her patients and their overall wellbeing. She takes time to attend conferences and reads in her time outside of work, to continue to improve her knowledge in the area that she is providing service for. Through her recommendations of several books and online resources, I have been able to educate myself on what I (and others) experience so frequently. Angela took the time to listen to my concerns in regards to medication - something that any mental health patient values - and she didn't disregard what I said. She requested lab work to ensure she was making the right medical decision to proceed and validated that the symptoms I was experiencing weren't coming from another source. We found nothing wrong with the current plan, which another provider wanted to abruptly stop, and I was able to continue my treatment. This allowed me to work with Angela over six months, to build a solid treatment plan, that addressed ALL of the issues I was experiencing. I don't see Angela as frequently as I did while we were building my treatment plan, but every visit is the same experience: Angela is a thoughtful provider that is exceptional in her field. Over two months ago, I reached out to them regarding TMS and ketamine treatment. But I just let them know that I will NOT seek treatment from them. Some red flags: This clinic needs constant prodding just to get insurance approval. They lose documents and they do not follow up. Recently I had an online appointment with the doctor (an MD should give final approval after meeting w/ the patient), but he never connected, even after I called to reschedule. They are either terribly disorganized, callous or both. They went ahead with the schedule for the full course of treatment w/out rescheduling the MD meeting, which is...concerning. I had a bad experience with them several years ago when they left me in the treatment room for 40 minutes after I pressed the call button (indicating that I was ready to leave) over and over. "Oh yeah, that thing fell on the floor last week and must have broken" is not exactly reassuring. I should have just removed my IV and gone to the bathroom (ketamine treatment, for some, can really fill your bladder to the bursting point). I said "never again" after that, but time passed, things can change and there's that convenient location factor. I noticed their employee turnover is quite high. Unless they make some serious improvements, I will not be returning to The Remedy.
