I had the best salon/spa day ever a couple days ago. Went to Aileen to get a relaxing facial where it feels as if all your worries are gone. Aileen did such a fab job. She even massaged my neck and arms. I also had my eyebrows and lip sugared and as a person that usually gets waxed and threaded, sugaring is the way to go. I'm so glad Aileen introduced me to it. The main reason why I initially wanted to go to Aileen is to get eyelash extentions. My eyelashes look so full with 45 lashes per eye. Aileen will let you know what works best for you. She's also the best deal in town because she does a great job and knows her products. She is consistantly doing research on the newest product and tests it herself. She will answer all your questions and knows what's she's doing (she's been doing this for 3+ years). Mish totally knew what to do with my hair. I had a vision for it and in a few words of describing it, she knew exactly what i was talking about. She layered my hair without taking off any length. She also colored my dark as can be Black hair to a dark to medium brown that makes it look natural but gives me a fresh, new look. This is a cute yellow looking house/ business place next to Mona Lisa restaurant. If you're lucky you can part in front of the shop, but it is limited. If not, it's street meter parking for you. So make sure you have plenty of change with you and maximum parking is 2hrs for most. Mish is amazing. Granted she's my friend, but she really loves hair done to it's roots. She analyzes and critically thinks the things you've done to your hair before she executes. It's amazing the things she asks you about your. Things I would have never thought about. She definitely is knowledgable and passionate about hair. She is always busy with appointments, so if she doesn't back you right away don't fret. She's going to have a secretary now so hopefully getting an appointment won't be too hard anymore. Another perk is right after she massages and washes your hair she hands you an Q-tip for your ears! I received highlights, cut, and an updo from Debbie Levie. Debbie did beautifully natural blonde highlights in my hair that lit up my face. She has great ideas also if you are unsure of color or cut. I also got layers and a trim that I am very happy with. I ended up with a modern wavy look that I can wear every day. I also went to Debbie for an event and helped me figure out a style for my hair. I have known Diana at Summer Salon for about 12 years and she's been doing my hair for about 5 of those years. She is such an awesome hair stylist I have been to stylist's before that pressure you into ALWAYS having a trim at every appointment and Diana is not that girl. She is always open to listening to exactly what the client wants. She is also very open to new ideas, if you decide to be blonde on one appointment and brunette the next, you are never hassled by her for wanting a change. Everywhere I go, girls are constantly complimenting me on my hair, I hand out her cards right and left and have had several friends go to Diana and are always very pleased with her work. She also has very reasonable prices. Summers Salon is also a very welcoming salon. Where to begin with this salon... I had been looking for a new stylist for over a year now that woulnd't charge an arm and a leg for a hair cut. Mish did my friends hair for her wedding and after looking at her reviews and her website, I was compelled to try getting my hair cut by her. I absolutely loved it. Mish gave a great quality hair cut, was thorough, but quick and was really decently priced. She doesn't push any additional salon products on you and she really customized the hair cut and style to you. It's really a great relaxed atmotsphere at the salon and she makes sure that you are comfortable with how your getting your hair cut. Loved her so much, I've booked her to do hair for my wedding. Not only did I love having my hair done by Mish, but I loved how my eyelash extentions were done by Aileen. Aileen is the esthetician at the salon. I've had lash extentions done plenty times before, but they always ended up being uncomfortable, heavy and sometimes even poked me in the eye. Once Aileen finished doing my extentions, the lashes were feather light but full and long and really made my eyes pop. I couldn't be happier and I'm already addicted to getting my lashes done by her.
