The school founder, Allan has created a community in which students, parents and teachers support each other. Special recognition to Hogan, Angel, and Jordan for the extended commitment to educating children. It's wonderful to be able to send our children to school, knowing that they will be safe, inspired to learn and thrive. My only complaint is that I didn't discover them earlier! My children's complaints are that their school year is not longer! (They followed the private school calendar, which is shorter than the LAUSD calendar). The school and the teachers are true gems.

I was around for most of the sessions and was impressed not only with the lessons provided (I learned a lot of things!) but the PATIENCE of each teacher. I heard the same questions asked repeatedly by students (and some parents!) and there was *never* even a hint of frustration from the team. WOW! Teaching over zoom is HARD so I can't give enough credit for the work they did! The activities were great, when the supply box first arrived I wasn't sure how the supplies in it were going to occupy my two squirrley kids for a week but it was like Mary Poppins magic carpet bag that just kept supplying what they needed! My kids want me to give a special shout out to Hogan who taught them (and a technologically challenged mom) how to "code" and my daughter wants Abe to know how much she liked the slime. Also they love Grey, Rosie and Alan, so basically every teacher they had they thought was the best teacher I'd highly recommend this group of educators for your homeschool or camp needs, they care about the kids and their excitement for what they teach transfers to the kids, even the littlest campers!

We were invited to a 5 year old birthday party and it's a cool spot. There's lot of fun activities such as air hockey, basketball, a doll house. magnetic tiles, jumbo jenga tiles, foosball, a VR headset, an art room, big screen TV, and a crafts table. Yes, there's lots of stuff to run around and play with and to fit whatever interest your LO's heart desires. My LO just turned 3 so a lot of the games really weren't for her but she LOVES crafting so we spent most of the time at the craft table The art room looked cool but would be cramped if a bunch of kids ran in there There is a connected room with a long table where the kids eat and pizza and cake are served The owner and his family are super nice and helpful. One star off for no longer having a parking lot. My friend said it had been converted to an outdoor play area but we came on a day it had rained so maybe that's why it wasn't available for the party. Parking is a pain but persistence paid off and I found a spot two blocks down. Be careful of permit only parking areas I don't live in the area so I don't see myself coming often but it think it's a neat place to take your kids but I feel age 5 and over would appreciate it more

I took 2 kids (not mine) age 7 to this camp. The facility is huge with different rooms, activity areas, and even a kitchen to make lunch as a group. The day the kids went, it was lasagna rolls. Before choosing this place, I looked at other day/summer camps like Zooga or options like Pamper N Play. I asked some questions via email and they were pretty fast in responding and being very helpful. Upon arriving, there were a couple kids who were "regulars" and all seemed happy and excited to be there. The facility looks like a very equipped community center/rec room. Clean, well maintained, a huge plethora of toys to keep a kid very busy. During the day they leave the venue to go to the beach, a local park, zip lining, etc. Seems very well run, organized, and they start the day off by having a meeting as a group to talk about the day's schedule and activities. I came to pick up the kids 15 min early and they were having such a good time, I let them play until it was time to go because they did not want to leave. Worth trying out to see if your kid enjoys it!

They do a great job of letting kids express themselves, and at the same time teaching them about different artists and techniques. We had her birthday party there this year and it was AMAZING. The kids had a ton of fun and created beautiful individual paintings and a group painting. I highly recommend it. The staff were so helpful and made the experience fun for everyone. Many of the parents and kids said how much they enjoyed it. We ordered food Frida's Tacos in the mall and the food was delicious. You can order from any restaurant you choose which is another plus. I can say enough great things about them. :) Aloka 4/6/18 update It's now been two more years and our daughter and son have been going to kids artistic sense. So when it came time to enroll in summer camps, I searched through the multitude of art camps, almost ignoring Kids Artistic Sense because it is housed in the near-barren Westside Pavillion. I am so glad that I decided instead to go check it out in person. Such a pleasant surprise. A most beautiful (and clean!) facility focused on real art (not piles of papers & craft projects that you don't know what to do with). Other activities like Legos, clay/kinetic sand, even an area for ball play so kids can shake their wiggles out! The most warm & encouraging staff, led by Miss Sandra who truly knew my son after his first visit. We started with a one-day trial on Memorial Day & ended up signing up for 3 weeks of summer camp. (2 of which are already sadly done). My son cannot wait to go back in July for his 3rd week & we are trying to rearrange our schedule to add another week. It is that special! Check out the paintings he is most proud of! And go check it out for yourself :)

Ms. Emily has the biggest heart and is a complete natural at interacting with children so young. At the beginning of the session, when my daughter had just turned 2, she had a lot of trouble focusing on her teacher and following instructions - which I learned is completely okay. Over time, her ability to focus improved and she would look forward to her ballet and tap class every weekend. Her favorite part was when Ms. Emily would give a sticker or glitter at the end of class. I loved watching how happy she was in class and how much she talked about it afterwards. Sadly, due to the COVID situation, the studio has been closed for the last two months and our routine has been disrupted. We're really hopeful that the situation improves in Los Angeles and we can find a way to have the class back in a safe way. We can't wait to be back! P.S. Funny story.. I was SO excited to put my (then) 2 year old in a mommy & me ballet class that I read the class instructions very carefully... the dress code was fairly specific (a certain color leotard, tights, ballet slippers etc). So I thought the moms were supposed to dress up just like their daughters. First class ever, I showed up in full leotard and tights to dance with my girl! After that, I realized the moms come in regular clothes so I was careful to dress appropriately from then on. Just a tip for other moms enrolling in the mommy & me class!
