I came for the pineapple soft serve. I was hoping it would taste more like dole whip I've had in the past but this tasted more like a pineapple flavored ice cream. Not bad, just not exactly what I was craving. They had fun topping options so I opted for some tajin and that was a nice twist. There were picnic tables to sit at and enjoy your treat. Huge menu and many sizes to choose from. The menu can be a little overwhelming especially since there are flavors with arbitrary names and no description. Then you feel annoying by holding up the line to ask what the different flavors are. However, if you are adventurous, could be fun to go many times and randomly pick different flavors! You can get a plain snow cone or get it mixed with ice cream. The largest sizes come in a frozen pineapple which looks amazing, however you don't actually get much pineapple fruit in it. I don't give 5 stars often, but truly this place deserves it for their pricing and depth of menu. Compared to other snow cone places I have been, this is extremely cheap and they have a drive thru! Their menu is OVERWHELMING! You can pull it up online, so do yourself a favor and pick a few options before you head there. Most of the time, you'll have plenty of time to research in the car because the line is insane and slllllooowwww! Their hours are a little kooky too and change through the year, so double check before you head that way. It might be the Northerner in me, but the south keep weird hours at their establishments. Everything opens by 10 am in Cleveland all year around, but here, it seems that hours change frequently and never seem to be before noon. Also weather plays quite the role...in Cleveland there could be a foot of snow and -20 degrees and Coldstone would still have a line to their door, here they close, but I am straying from topic! They also have ad-ins you can have put in your snow cone...sprinkles, gummies, etc. They cost .50 cents. All snow cones also come with a sour straw. Although I haven't had it, there is an option to have a ginormous snow cone inside a pineapple and for a little more add ice cream to it as well! I think that's cray, but maybe someday when I have small children with me we'll get that and share! It's also nice because there is a park across the street (it's a busy street, but not insane where you can't fast walk across) which is great to walk over to with the kids to enjoy their snow cones in the sun! read more

Today was Mother's Day and my daughter's 3rd birthday. We chose to come to Summer Snow to celebrate our special day in hopes that it would not disappoint based upon the many positive reviews and attractive pictures. Sadly it was quite the disappointment. I asked about 2 different flavors on the menu and they could not accommodate me with ANY customer service or solutions. They said they had a rule to not let customers know the basic content of their flavors because they believe other companies will copy them! Let me tell you that #1: I am not a business, but a customer! #2: if I were a business choosing to be a customer Summer Snow should be so flattered and not paranoid. Shame on you for treating your customers so impolitely! There are many solutions you could have armed yourself with, Summer Snow, to keep your "recipes" a secret. Let me help you out: give out samples of flavors to try if you can't tell me what's in the flavor or what it tastes like. I will never be back. Worst snowcone experience ever. They have plenty of unique as well as traditional flavors to choose from. The menu also consists typical food stand items like nachos. Even though they've been busy each time I've gone the wait time is quick. The only thing I have to sort of complain about is the fact that I asked about a flavor and I got a generic answer. Luckily I am adventurous when it comes to trying new flavors so that's not really an issue but, it would nice to know what "fruity" means. Overall my experiences have been good. My tip for this place is better than my review. It seems the past few times I have been here it has been just mediocre. Ok so they say " fresh pinapple"s " are used for their snow cone. I was really disappointed to find they were frozen , and wrapped in an ice bag. The pineapple was inedible. It was a treat for my kids. We got the F5 Tornado, ice cream in the bottom snow cone ice flavor then whipped cream. It was good but for $9.50 if I had known the pine apple was frozen I wouldn't have spent $30 on 3 of them. I would have gotten regular ones. Horrible customer service. My wife and I went here with our three-year-old daughter earlier today. First time that we have ever been to this snow cone stand. My wife wanted to know what the Swamp Mama snow cone tasted like. The girl at the window told my wife that "they are not allowed to tell the customers what flavors comprise the snow cones. It's a new rule." She also added that she had not personally ever tried that particular snow cone, so she could not tell us her opinion of the taste of it. Ok, then how are we supposed to know whether we want to purchase a certain snow cone if we don't have the slightest clue what it will taste like? What an utterly stupid policy to have. If she had just told us what flavors comprised that snow cone, then we could have come to our own conclusion about whether we wanted to purchase it or not. When did going to a snow cone stand and trying to order a snow cone become so difficult? I have been going to snow cone stands my entire life, and this is the first time that I have ever been told at a snow cone stand that they are not allowed to tell the customers what flavors they put in the snow cone! We didn't get any snow cones because we couldn't get any of the workers to tell us what flavors they put in any of them, so that we would have some idea of what they would taste like! So, my family and I went to summer snow around 8:30 one night, peak business hours I suppose. So we approached the front counter on foot and placed our order after having to wait about 5 minutes in line, which was no big deal. However, after twenty minutes of waiting at a dirty table that was too low to the ground, we went to ask where our snow cones were. The lady that took our order informed us that she had "misplaced our order" and they hadn't even started to make it yet. We promptly demanded our money back and left. I can't even rate the food, because we didn't receive it. I wish I could give this less stars than one, or possibly just get my gosh darn snow cone. They've lost a costumer and I hope they lose many more. This is truly the Donald trump of snow cone establishments: talks a lot of game but doesn't deliver.
