What a great office team this group has. The whole team is proactive, customer service oriented, polite, & courteous. April was especially helpful when I asked a generic question about insurance and she took it to a personalized level of customer service. She answered my question and applied it to my account which resulted in saving me money. It's not all about the money to this team (and April proved that). They say they tried to notify me. Yet there was no missed calls or message about my bill being due. Main issue was this this branch of Farmers sold me insurance that did not cover my car at all. When I told them my car would no longer be moving and was going to sit in its spot all I needed was insurance to cover if anything was stolen or vandalized. I was sold liability insurance which only covers if you hit someone. In the end I let my insurance lapse because of the fact that I could no longer trust them. They jacked up my premiums and so did every other insurance company. To say I highly recommend not doing business with this office is an understatement! But honestly Farmers in general was no help whatsoever with any of what happened to me. After talking with many different reps in different levels. I found out how much they do not care when you are completely scammed. They only care about the money I realized that the hard way. After everything I went through trust me Look somewhere else. At the same time always make sure you know what you're getting because there are very untrustworthy people out there. Unfortunately I had the disadvantage to do business with this branch office of Farmers I have another branch that I was doing business with as far as farmers in California which I never had an issue with for aprox 10 years. But after the entire ordeal I will no longer be doing business with farmers ever again. Other companies are cheaper anyways. I highly recommend you stop trying to downplay what your office did in my case! Not only was I scammed out of money but I ended up losing money because my flawless aprox 10 years with farmers was destroyed by doing business with Summers office. Luckily for them nothing happened to my vehicle or I would have seen them in court. Considering I paid insurance for vehicle that was sitting with no coverage for what I asked for. Buyers or anyone looking into doing business with this office beware!!!! make sure this doesn't happen to you. I seriously wish you could Give minus stars I would give a minus 5 star review. Farmers, what can I say, WE LOVE YOU! I have been working with Summer, April and Mariah for a few years now and you won't find a better group of ladies. We own several properties and our insurance needs are..."complicated"... Our complicated insurance needs got more complicated when we bought a rental property in Las Vegas. Our California agent is not licensed in Nevada and we needed to find a Nevada agent. We needed insurance that would be covered under our California umbrella insurance too...so it's complicated. It's also Las Vegas and being a nightly rental...well stuff gets even more complicated. I looked at Yelp and jumped straight to the 1 star reviews and the hidden review sections. Definitely a lot of the hidden reviews here were a bit sketchy. I also spent a bunch time comparing some of the user profile pictures and pictures of the staff. I also did this with the other Vegas agents as well, and all of Vegas agents seemed to have similar questionable reviews. It's also possible that most reviews for insurance are going to look sketchy no matter what. It's a product you buy and might never use...so how much is there to really say in a review? Now for the rest of the story...[said with my worse Paul Harvey imitation] I will talk about Farmers in general. With our complicated world we have had to use our insurance. I have told Farmers employees during the process that they suck. I have needed my California agent to help with the process. I have also had Farmers deny stuff based on a set of rules you don't get to see in writing (even if you ask). If my insurance needs were simpler I wouldn't use Farmers. There is another company my wife and I have debated about switching to, but last time we got a quote it was going to cost a lot more. I will say that Farmers is way better than State Farm. Ultimately I decided to use Summer Rivlin's office and gave them a call. I worked with Mariah for the whole process. The HOA and the rental program kept requesting changes to the insurance. Mariah was great and made all of the changes quickly. Given the choice we'd totally fire our California agent and use Summer Rivlin's office for everything. Unfortunately they aren't licensed in California. We haven't needed to use our Farmers insurance in Nevada yet. I'll post an update if we use our coverage in Nevada. read more

We recently moved from California to Nevada and were in the need of a new Farmer's Insurance Agency because our California agent was not licensed in Nevada. We LOVE our agent in California so our new agent had some big shoes to fill. We have 4 cars, 5 homes, 5 earthquake polices and and umbrella policy so insurance is important to us as well as our relationship with our agent. I contacted Summer Rivlin Agency due to their reviews on Yelp. I must say they live up to their 5 star rating. Mariah contacted me the same day that I reached out to her via email. Mariah was responsive and followed through on EVERY commitment and deadline even after I made several changes. My daughter moved to Las Vegas for school and I was told that I needed to work with a Farmers agent in NV as Nevada doesn't accept out of state insurance - I googled and saw two agents close to my daughter. Summer is a gem. Unfortunately, her coworker April absolutely lied to my face about having insurance. I have audio proof where she told me I had it until a specific date, then when I canceled that day because she couldn't accommodate a simple request on my policy, she called me back ten minutes later and told me she's backdating my policy, therefore effectively showing I had no insurance for several weeks. That's douchey business practice, and because of her little stunt, I'm fighting with the DMV right now. I'll end her career before I pay that fine. It it gets legal or nasty, so be it. I will be going to Farmer's corporate, the BBB, and all social media regarding this matter. Even the news if need be. Avoid this office and especially April at all costs. She'll lie right to you about coverage, because she gets butthurt when you cancel. I don't know how she sleeps at night. She's so crooked she could sleep in a trombone...... read more
