The Sultan restaurant is located in George Street, South West of the City centre (about a ten minute walk). There is no car park and although you can park on the street you will have to pay at certain times.
The restaurant can be found through an archway and along a passage. Look out for the signs as you walk down and then follow the stairs, it is on the first floor.
The staff are friendly and welcoming. The menu is very traditional Indian fayre. The food is very tasty and its price reasonable but I remember the drinks being expensive last time I went. Check your bill before you pay as we were overcharged and they insisted it was correct.
I would not really recommend this restaurant as there are plenty of good Indian restaurants in the St. Albans area. read more
