My contractor also was happy with it, until the last stair tread to come out of the box was damaged. I called LL and was told that it was damaged in shipping and they would cover fixing the item. Partially since I spent so much money there! LL Flooring formally Lumber Liquidator, and now Lumber Liquidator again has gone back on their promise to make it right! Shortly after I dropped off the broken tread LL Flooring filed bankruptcy and was restructured. I was told during the restructuring that as an existing customer I would be taken care of, but the company needed to complete bankruptcy. I was very understanding and delayed completion of my home renovations for this one step! My contractor also had to move on. After what seemed like 5 months I was informed by Lumber Liquidator that they would not replace the broken step tread unless I paid $60 for the replacement. Fortunately for me they had not tossed the broken step tread. I actually paid for that one! I feel cheated and disappointed that the new Lumber Liquidator management saw me as a number that was a past customer. Well they made sure I would never purchase from them again and I will tell anyone willing to listen that Lumber Liquidator is a disreputable company and to take their money to a company that will honor their commitments. I would give ZERO Stars if able. DO NOT SHOP AT LL OR LUMBER LIQUIDATOR FLOORING. You never know when they will file bankruptcy just to get out of their obligations. Shame on you.

DG Floor Sanding We…read morehired DG Floor Sanding here in the Brewer/Bangor area to sand, stain, and poly coat every wood floor in our entire house, and the results are unbelievable. David was extremely communicative from start to finish, very personable, and incredibly thorough. This is truly a one-man operation, and the level of pride he takes in his work shows in every detail. He didn't just refinish the floors, he carefully repaired cracked and separating boards, filled damaged areas, and made everything look seamless and brand new. We also asked him to take on some extra work that wasn't originally part of the job. He handled it without hesitation and didn't charge us anything extra. That kind of integrity is rare. Honestly, David is one of the best contractors I've ever hired for any home or trade-related project. Family and friends were all blown away by the transformation from David's craftsmanship. If you're in the Brewer or Bangor area and need hardwood floors sanded, refinished, stained, or sealed, I highly recommend DG Floor Sanding without hesitation. Top-quality craftsmanship and great communication the entire time.

The comfort,…read morefit (that's right, "fit".) and beauty of our fine leather chairs has punctuated our leisure for a decade. What great luck, then, that we found Stonington's Furniture in Brewer. Their personable and knowledgeable staff presented us with low-pressure options which fit our decor, and our bodies. I should mention here that I am six foot three, and weigh two hundred and forty-four pounds. My wife is half my size. The staff of Stonington's educated us, and fitted us to the proper size chairs which have become a necessary part of our daily comfort. Stressless furniture is so comfortable, well made, and beautiful, that we've since populated our home with three more stressless couches. Even the strongest of war-horses becomes a bit sway-back after being ridden hard, and in 2024, my chair developed a bit of a dip. Close examination showed that ten years of me had weakened one of the seat springs. We called Stonington's, and they immediately began to set things right. They assessed the chair, and ordered the necessary part from Norway. When the part arrived, they came to my house and picked up the chair in the morning. At two-thirty that afternoon, they called and asked if they could deliver the chair back to me that same day. Throughout this entire process, the people at Stonington's were patient, pleasant, and accommodating. The cost for all of this was $0. My newly refurbished chair is back on line, providing me now with stressless comfort and the sure certainty that my purchases from Stonington's include customer service that is both rare and dependable. "Thankyou" seems a meager response, but my future recommendations to friends will be heartfelt and exuberant. My loyalty to Stonington's has been well earned. Thank you.
