Was really hoping to leave a much better review! Ordered 5,000 square foot of flooring and 25 custom stair treads! Over $21k in product! Honestly happy with 95% of the products! My contractor also was happy with it, until the last stair tread to come out of the box was damaged. I called LL and was told that it was damaged in shipping and they would cover fixing the item. Partially since I spent so much money there! LL Flooring formally Lumber Liquidator, and now Lumber Liquidator again has gone back on their promise to make it right! Shortly after I dropped off the broken tread LL Flooring filed bankruptcy and was restructured. I was told during the restructuring that as an existing customer I would be taken care of, but the company needed to complete bankruptcy. I was very understanding and delayed completion of my home renovations for this one step! My contractor also had to move on. After what seemed like 5 months I was informed by Lumber Liquidator that they would not replace the broken step tread unless I paid $60 for the replacement. Fortunately for me they had not tossed the broken step tread. I actually paid for that one! I feel cheated and disappointed that the new Lumber Liquidator management saw me as a number that was a past customer. Well they made sure I would never purchase from them again and I will tell anyone willing to listen that Lumber Liquidator is a disreputable company and to take their money to a company that will honor their commitments. I would give ZERO Stars if able. DO NOT SHOP AT LL OR LUMBER LIQUIDATOR FLOORING. You never know when they will file bankruptcy just to get out of their obligations. Shame on you. read more

Do yourself a very big favor and stay far away from doing business with this store. I had a measure done to include 2 sets of stairs and a loft area. I was told on numerous occasions that the flooring I chose was available but would be coming from various locations so it would take a while to get. When I called to check in on the order status, I was told the product was discontinued but they had enough to do my job. I would be able to purchase it a big discount but he had to make sure they had enough in their warehouse to complete the job. I called again to check on the status and was now told the product was not discontinued but would be back in stock in several months at a premium price. I decided to forget that sku and went with an item that was in stock. I was then informed that they didn't have any delivery men so it couldn't be delivered in a timely manner. But they would deliver it to my house themselves since I was living out of state and didn't have a vehicle that could handle a pickup of this magnitude. Finally had the product delivered. Then i was told the installer wasn't going to be available for some time. When he finally coordinated the install, he walked in and said there was a shortage of product and couldn't do the job until every piece was delivered. When the installer finished the job, he only had enough product for 1 set of stairs and said that's all that was purchased and all they had ordered. He proceeded to tell me that when he did the estimate, he included the second set of stairs with pictures, layout etc to be included in the estimate. I was also told I could return any unopened product - which was true except they charged me an additional 25% restocking fee even though they were the ones to work up the estimate. What a fiasco! Staff while pleasant is overshadowed by the rude and arrogant store manager. Short story...Purchased LV plank flooring in 2021. Had a problem in October of 2022. After repeated phone calls to corporate went back to the store and complained...loudly of the lack of service. Store manager said " I'm your best friend. you don't want to upset me." Finally LLFlooring requested a box of the flooring for testing. "The store has been told to supply you a box and they have been credited". Went in to pick up the replacement box and the store had not been credited and the didn't know about the box. They did supply it anyway. Fast fo to January 2023 and Corporate agreed to repair the floor, asked me to pick up a box for the repair and 'the store has been credited for the box and they are aware". Went in. Store manager was not happy to see me again. Told me "you already got your box". Explained and offered to shore him the email "I don't need to see the email. I'm done with this. I'll just right it off". Not only was he rude in his attitude towards a customer but basically accused me of thrift by deceptiom. Never EVER will I recommend this store or this company to anyone looking for flooring. read more

BEWARE! Manager and employee told us that we could return unused packages of flooring "anytime!" 102 days later and they won't return 2 boxes of flooring! It's according to the stores discretion. The manager here is belligerent and condescending. Not only to me (the contractor) but also to my customer. Will never do business here again. And if you want a local store that is true to their word, look elsewhere! read more

I was very disappointed with a Virginia mills oak squire product due to poor quality, wood splintered when being installed and is very soft. Second, VERY disappointed in the store itself since we were told that extra unused product could be returned. Called to return it and they said it wasn't returnable. Will NOT do business with them, I felt deceived. Buyer beware!!!! read more

We used Bella Wood and LOVE it. Our installer showed up on time, did a great job and estimated his work time exactly right. We were very happy with the whole experience. This is the second time we have used Lumber Liquidators and would use them again. I have not had to return anything but was told not to wait too long to do it. read more

I bought 8 boxes of Dream Home flooring from the Brewer, Maine store on Saturday September 1st. We attempted to install said flooring on Sunday September 2nd. It snapped apart easily, would not stay down, and was in general, incredibly flimsy. It did not work for the floor that we needed it to cover. We called the store and spoke to the Assistant Manager, Taylor, who helped us find the product in the first place. She said that since we had opened 3 of the 8 boxes, TWO of which we never even removed one piece from the box, that we MAY be able to get credit or a refund for THOSE boxes. We needed to return all 8 boxes, at least the 5 that were completely unopened. According to your return policy, you can return any unopened item with a receipt within 30 days. It is stated very clearly on your website, which I read before returning. On Monday, September 3rd, the STORE MANAGER who was NOT wearing a name tag, told me that I was not able to return my unopened product. I said that I had my receipt, that was in my hand, and that I had bought it THREE DAYS AGO, that accoridng to your own policy, that I should be able to. Funny, somehow his attittude towards our family was completely different after I caught him being 100% dishonest with us. He was rude, told me that you do not take back opened boxes because "No one will buy an opened box" (also interesting because Home Depot will take back any opened or unopened boxes but your company will not -- they seem to have no problem selling those opened boxes). I also said that I will never return to that store ever again and he said "That is fine" and when my mother questioned him on how he knew the boxes were not defective without even looking at them, he told her "I know they aren't. I have done those exact floors numerous times." When we asked him why Taylor had told us on the phone that we may be able to get credit for the untouched but opened boxes, he simply told us "He was her boss and he will not do that". Basically, if this man is the man you leave in charge of that store, good luck. He is by far the worst Store Manager I have ever come in contact with, and I have been in retail management for 15 years. Absolute worst service, and policy, I have ever seen. So even though your company made me eat $60 for the 3 boxes you would not take back, the worst part of my experience was that he actually tried to lie to us and tell us we were unable to return our perfectly fine 5 boxes of flooring. He straight out lied to us and attempted to get us to buy another product instead of getting my money back, rightfully so. This man is a snake and I honestly hope that you do not have other customers that have experienced that level of dishonesty from that store. I took the measly $100 your company allowed me to have, after I fought for it, WITHIN MY RIGHTS TO -- and spent it at Home Depot. Thank you for wasting my time and my money. I fully intend to blast this review on every possible avenue. read more
