Jason and his team renovated the whole basement by installing drywall, replacing the drop ceiling with a conventional ceiling and new lighting, and covering the entire floor with functional but attractive laminate. They went above and beyond to make sure we were involved in the design and satisfied with the results. In addition, they replaced our kitchen floor, which had some water damage, with beautiful ceramic tile to complement the existing quartz counters. This is the second major project Jason has done for us. He previously remodeled a bathroom for us, replacing all the fixtures and flooring, as well as installing a pocket door. We are very happy with all the work that was done and would highly recommend Building Buddies.

Due to that, we started to seek places again in 2021, and this company stuck out to me from the initial phone call informing them of my interest. I've worked with many different contractors over the years and this is the first company that was professional from the beginning to the end. The owner Brian is very friendly and helpful. We were assigned Pat to do our bathroom, wow was he very nice, charming, polite and professional. It was nice to have that for the first time. They provided us information from the beginning on the amount of days it would take, they'd be here from 8-4 daily Monday-Friday. They were on target with that. The previous contractor that did my other bathroom would show up at 10 AM, leave for 2 hour lunch at 11:30 and work and hour and go home. I didn't have to deal with that with this place. They came in and did a job as specified. Our bathroom was outdated from the 1990's and he modernized it to our liking. He did an outstanding job with our bathroom, I couldn't of asked for anything better. I've attached before, after and in between the final job. I was very impressed with this company and plan on hiring them for many future opportunities. I also needed some help getting a new wind stop/chain installed on a swinging screen door in the basement. They were the only service I reached out to who asked for specific details about the jobs before providing a quote, which is a great way to do business. They also provided a real time of expected arrival instead of something like a four-hour window taking up your entire day. They arrived a little before the time quoted with two people - one the main handyman and one being trained. They did a prompt and excellent job and the cost was very fair.
