However, on the day of the funeral and cremation, we were notified by the company (at the crematorium) that they cannot proceed with the cremation because the proper paperwork as not received by the funeral home. Connie was the person placed in charge of processing our funeral as well as the paperwork. When we called Connie to ask what was happening, we were clearly in distress and Connie had raised her voice at us telling us she did not appreciate our tone. If a delay happened in your service for a member of your family, wouldn't you be distressed? Connie is an unfit candidate who can't handle frustrating situations. We are in further distress especially after how the funeral home and Connie had handled their jobs. There are so many other places to hold a funeral service, this is not even one you should consider.

We dealt with…read moreunprofessional and insensitive comments from staff, poorly printed prayer cards with blurry text, a lack of accountability when concerns were raised, and mistakes during the funeral service itself. Although the funeral home eventually agreed to refund and reprint the prayer cards, the overall lack of compassion, communication, and attention to detail made an already difficult time much harder. Based on our experience, I would not recommend Cartwright Funeral Home.

Had an aunt and a parents wake here and they both looked terrible in their caskets. They just blew…read moremy aunt's hair straight back and did the same to my father. We gave them pictures of how they looked in life but they obviously never looked at them. When I complained about the condition of my father they came back with vaseline and a comb. I'm still very upset about this several months later. They also didn't fit my father's suit jacket correctly. It was all bunched up. Never again will I go here if I can help it.

When my…read moregrandmother passed this January we were all at a loss but when Waitt said they had the availability we were able to get the ball rolling. We worked with Stephanie and she was AMAZING! IF I COULD GIVE HER MORE STARS I WOULD! The funeral home is open 24 hours so when we had questions in the evening she would call us back immediately. The funeral home offered complimentary live service for those who couldn't attend due to COVID! A service other homes don't provide. We made meal kits for our guests since we couldn't have a traditional reception. Stephanie offered to have her team pass it out to cars on there way out of the cemetery. She was very flexible. I hope it is a long time until we need their service again, but when the time comes we'll be going with Waitt Funeral Home again and asking for Stephanie!

Brendan McNamara, fourth generation owner of their Cohasset location was so accommodating to myself and our family during the whole process. They are very aware of how your feeling during the consultation we had with Brendan right away . He made sure everything was perfect for the wake at the church across the street @ St. Anthony's Catholic Church. It didn't stop there when the services ended, They called days after making sure we received everything as far as the Thank You cards with my husband's photo on the front that were made to order from the first meeting to plan the unimaginable. After all said and done and Brendan and his employees really were so easy and understanding of the pain my family is still going thru. I'm 100% happy we chose them to lead the way for a wake ad funeral when we had no thought process after my husband left us.
