She looked at my MRI of T1-2 and told me there was VERY LITTLE space for the nerve to go through. She contacted a neurosurgeon who suggested getting a different MRI. She showed me just how much room there wasn't at that disc level, yet she still gave me a spinal injection (because my arm had been tingling). I have had many of these types of injections before with no issues! This time, while I was laying on the table, she started to give me the injection, then stopped, apologized stating that she had to do it again. (That never happens). I heard the nurse gasp. When getting ready to go she told me to expect some relief in my arm within 5-7 days. What happened next was a NIGHTMARE!! There wasn't enough room for the nerve to get through T1-2, yet she filled the area with liquid. exactly 5 days later I was in INTOLERABLE PAIN! I felt the pain mid back, behind my scapula and I could not use the arm that she supposedly helped. The pain was off the charts! I had 3 separate ER visits - CT scans and MRI's done. However, I could not get the MRI that the neurosurgeon needed since the pain kept me from laying on the hard MRI table. The injection was June 4th. My PCP tried to control my pain with several attempts of pain meds. Morphine only worked if I took if every 3 hours. An EMS gave me fentanyl in the ambulance and that's the only time I got relief. The severe pain lasted SEVERAL weeks, non stop, no sleep, stoned on morphine, crying all day and night. I got the MRI that I needed on August 14th, almost 2 1/2 months after the shot!! Results showed T1-2 so narrow that I should NOT have gotten the injection. Might I add that she was gone for vacation and I was told that if I needed any help or had questions, her "colleagues" could help me. They had no idea that I needed a different MRI, so they wouldn't re-write her RX to state STAT!! They were no use. They wouldn't return my calls and I NEVER got a STAT MRI. The receptionist was rude. I tried explaining how much pain I was in but she didn't seem interested. The doctors after visit clinical notes did not say anything about having to do a 2nd injection. Her office wouldn't return my calls and I was in AGONY!! Weeks went by and still no word from her office. I do NOT recommend her as a pain "management" "doctor". She's a liar (to cover her own butt), and she should have known NOT to inject anything into the area where there was no room for it to go. 4 ER visits later, pain med trial and errors, no sleep and Pain at 1000 on a scale of 1-10 lasting weeks is what she gave me. The pain was so bad that my neighbor thought I was being attacked at 4:30AM. He said he heard blood curdling screams. That's what this "Doctor" did to me! M advice is to find someone else and run away from her as quickly as you can!

I arrived 10 minutes early like they said I had to and finally at 4pm 15 minutes after my scheduled appointment someone brought me back into a room where I waited another 20 minutes the physician assistant not even a real Dr came in talked to me for about 5 minutes told me I needed an injection but I would have to go to Gurnee for it. Went up to the front and the girl informed me that they only have Fridays available which doesn't work for me because that is an extremely busy day at work for me not to mention Gurnee is really far for me. The girl next to her had this smug look on her face like she was about to laugh. I don't think people with that kind of an attitude have any business working in a medical office.
