I would go to a different SuitSupply. The one in SoHo is great. This one has terrible customer service and tailoring quality is abysmal. Spent 1k on a suit there, look at the puckering on the pant hem... embarrassing quality. Someone who's never used a sewing machine before could do better than this. But what's even worse is deciding this is suitable to provide to a customer. No pride in workmanship, nobody at this store cares. read more

I went in to this location to look for a suit for my wedding reception. I went in there and told the rep that was at the door I was only there to browse. I did that knowing they always try to sell you and all that but I didn't want to be bothered. When I grabbed a suit to try it on someone approached me saying they tell costumers they don't want costumers to try them until someone is helping them. You have no idea how bad I love the items at Suitsupply. But dealing with these overwhelming sales people is incredibly annoying. And when you actually try it on they act sooooo pretentiously. I've faced this issue at ALL locations but this one had to be the worst. Definitely won't be returning to shop here anytime soon. read more

Some of the worst customer service I have ever come across in a long time. I came here with a friend who was getting ready for a wedding. We made an appointment ahead of time and were pretty transparent with our associate that the wedding was months away and we were only looking today, and he immediately lost interest in us. He almost wanted to us to leave, saying things like "you should come back 3 months before the wedding, we'll have what you need then. all the fabrics you see now will be completely different and won't be available." - I found that very hard to be true and he was extremely patronizing and condescending the entire time we were checking out suits. I was also picking suits out for my friend and he would not let me pull them off the rack, saying "just tell me which ones you want and I'll get them for you" in a very stern manner. I came here because, I am familiar with Suitsupply. I've gotten a suit here before. I went into this location since I'm always in Williamsburg and I needed another trouser. I was greeted when I was in, interaction was perfect - or so I thought. I made it clear that I needed a S trouser for short and not R, three times to be exact. I trusted the process and didn't look at any emails, until "your package is out for delivery" I checked to see the time the truck left the facility and the item, 30R. I then had to go back, when my trousers came and have someone else handle the exchange. It's just very annoying, especially when you're very patient and give all the information needed correctly. UPDATE: I left my first trouser with my new one for alterations, I came home and they looked different to me in length. It's very very picky but if I'm paying over $200 for suit pants, they need to fit just the same. Especially, when I leave the other pair to be matched with length wise. The new one was .5 inches off, which seems insignificant but if you love these pants and find a length you enjoy, it makes such a big difference. I thought it was going to be an easy fix but now, I'm not sure if this location is right for me. Now, it will be my 4th, time in this location for the SAME ONE, trouser. Ridiculous. read more

We just finished a custom suit appointment with Darnell M. He is absolutely refreshing. Not only is Darnell knowledgeable, but he is incredibly personable, patient, and kind. He explained everything to us in easy-to-understand ways and posed questions to ensure we considered our options. When we made comments that we thought were in passing, like, "sometimes pants don't fit my thighs," he took notice and added an extra centimeter to the order for fit. We have never witnessed someone be so present and attentive. We are so looking forward to the suit's arrival and future shopping/fittings with Darnell. Heads up, weekends are jam-packed and have been that way consistently since New York reopened. Do yourself a favor and schedule an appointment instead of just walking in, trust me. We watched one person wait 30 minutes for an available suit expert and witnessed two people get turned away when we were leaving in the most respectable way I have ever seen. She (Julie?) told them that they could not provide them the time and attention that they deserved as all of the experts were working with customers. We didn't buy a suit, we spent an incredible 90 minutes shopping, trying on clothes and chatting. It was such a wonderful experience. read more

I came to Suitsupply based off of a friend's recommendation, as I have never truly found any formal attire that I enjoy or truly feel comfortable in. Calvin, one of the stylists at Suitsupply, took his time to give my needs the attention it craved. Calvin spent numerous hours with me to find me what would suit me best. The attention to detail and honesty from Calvin is what made the experience even more amazing. Calvin mentioned he has 10+ years of experience in helping individuals/groups get the fit they need, and it is evident in his day-to-day behaviors and how he conducts himself like a true professional. Ingenuine customer service. Eline was nice at first when we walked in without an appointment, most likely cuz she knew we went in for a last minute purchase. Was told our alterations would be done in less than 3 days. We went back, nothing was done. They ended up ordering a whole new suit instead of making the alterations per our discussion and time crunch. We went back the day the alterations were supposed to be done (1 week later), we arrived an hour before closing. Nothing was done. Next day we went back after sending in a formal complaint, finally was able to pick up the suit we spent over $800 for. Mind you the quality was less than suitable for a groom but this was our last option. The wait in the store upon arriving is honestly a waste. We could've tried on the suit while waiting for the lady, instead we had to wait outside for an hour just to be called in when she was done with her previous customers. A waste of time just to receive approval for us to try on the suit we paid for. They were great until they got our money and then we were just brushed away with their assurances that it would get done on time. Need to make an appointment before going in becuz the workers HAVE to consult with you, you are not allowed to look around or try anything on without the employee babysitting you. She was rude towards the end and didnt apologize for the delayed alterations. Also you should stop psuedo flirting with customers. Its disgusting. read more

Disappointed. I tried not to be discouraged by the number of customers aimlessly walking around the store looking for someone to help them. When I finally got someone to help there was a lot more standing around as the associate sweet talks other customers. The quality of their suit does not match their prices. Specially when their suit are meant to be tailored anyways. You do better buying a top quality suit ANYWHERE ELSE, and have it tailored. Lastly, I scheduled a time to pick up my suit vía their scheduling process. Made the effort to get their on time but when I arrived the rep was clueless of my appointment, a lot more waiting around waiting to be helped, and when I finally got some help the rep's focus wasn't on me - event after booking that time. In the middle of trying my suit the rep walked away "for two minutes to take a call" but instead went to sweet talk another customer as I stood there with my suit on just waiting. My verdict: Not coming back and would advise others to consider other alternatives. Reasons: - Slow to almost nonexistent customer service - Overpriced Chinese factory suits designed so that you MUST spend more to tailor them. Plus pay special attention to the quality of their stitching which leads to short lifespan. - Tailoring turnaround time are a week long; for anything. - Don't let them talk you away from what you want. If it doesn't fit the way you want ask them to do it again rather than letting them convince you that you want that you just told them you don't. - MORE IMPORTANTLY: Keep in mind that these are Chinese factory suits wrapped around a pretty presentation and a fickle promise of personalized services. With a bit more effort you can get way better suits at similar or more affordable pricing elsewhere. I.e: Yoox.com and then find yourself a good local tailor. You'll thank me later. read more

Julie, the store manager at this location, is a godsend! After sharing my disappointment with our previous service, she immediately jumped in to correct the situation. She was empathetic and action-oriented. We were looking for an attentive, knowledgeable person to help us make a suit selection, and we found that in her. Within two weeks, my husband has a replacement suit he loves and one that will make our big day much more special. My suggestion, if you choose to purchase from here, make sure you ask a lot of questions about the final product and options available to you to get the best outcome. I walked in to the Suitsupply- 57 Wythe Ave, Brooklyn, NY 11249 location yesterday (May 25, 2024) asking to "try on a few men coats" and the man at the counter in a white/beige suit with his woman colleague in a black suit stare at me & asked rudely "Would you like to try on or make a purchase?". I was completely thrown off with his comment and said "excuse me?" The guy repeated his response & told me to check in with the iPad facing down to his right on the counter. He never asked for my name, what exactly I was looking to try on in hopes of making a purchase. With huge discomfort 3-5 minutes into the store, still standing at the front desk and never even making it for a stroll around the store I turned around and left. I will not be returning back to this location. Extremely uncomfortable and rude service. @Suitsupply if this is how you are treating new customers upon arrival I will just skip my visit and pay a larger price tag at a retail store where I can feel welcome to stroll and find the item to purchase. read more

We just had the most incredible experience at suit supply Williamsburg this evening! My husband and I dropped in on a whim to look at their collection on a busy Saturday night. Julie came right up to us and told us that while they were full at the moment she could squeeze us in just a few minutes later and texted us when our appointment was ready. Julie paired us with expert suitsupplier, Khalid and we are SO lucky we wound up in his hands. He made my husband feel comfortable and stylish and was honest and patient. He took one glance at my husband and brought him a perfectly fitting suit and shirt to try on. I have had an awful experience with Suitsupply. After a few positive experiences, I chose to get a custom made suit for my wedding. I went to this location after making an appointment with an individual that I had specifically chosen based on their style and reviews. When I arrived, I waited almost an hour before being paired with an "expert" that I had not chosen and who clearly had less experience. She was very nice, but even though I knew exactly what I wanted, the fitting took almost 2 hours and was only completed once another expert (the one I had chosen in the first place) stepped in to assist. Since then, I've waited 3 months without so much as an update. With my wedding approaching, I've called in several times and received different timelines and excuses each time. Now that it looks like the suit won't arrive in time for my wedding, I've been told to buy a suit off the rack (at my own expense). Obviously if this was the route I wanted to take, I would've done so in the first place and saved a thousand dollars and 3 months. I can't recommend Suitsupply, and this store in particular, less. read more

Mind u it's a storefront not an office suite. The "host" was downstairs we waited for him to come up and he promptly told us they had no appointments today so we couldn't be helped. I'm so disappointed with this location - the level of service and attentiveness from associates is no where near the quality I've experienced at the Soho store. I agree with past reviews to avoid this location, unfortunately. I met with an associate and explained that I was first looking for a light grey suit with natural shoulders. She walked me over to the wall, waved lazily at the rack and asked, "do any of these catch your eye?". I was given no explanation of the different cuts or material, and she didn't even take any off the rack for me to see the front of the jackets. I went into the dressing room three times and each time I came out the associate was speaking with new customers who'd walked in, so I had to wait a few minutes each time for her to come back. The last time, after waiting 10+ minutes standing around awkwardly without her returning, I left. This is not the level of attention one should expect when buying a $900+ suit. I love Suitsupply - they make great quality suits and jackets. I came in intending to buy 1 suit, 1 jacket, 1-2 pants, and a couple shirts and spend up to $2,500. I left without spending anything because the service was so poor. read more

I scheduled two appointments with Darnell because I needed a suit for a weeklong business trip, as well as another one for cooler weather. Darnell was extremely professional, knowledgeable, and patient with me. I tried on several suits until I found one that clicked and he was able to help me get the perfect fit. For my second appointment I knew I wanted to have one other suit for warmer weather. Darnell discovered that I didn't have any other suits in my closet and suggested a versatile navy all season suit would be the best option. I do recommend scheduling an appointment during the week, if possible, because the store seems much busier on the weekends. But it might have just been the weekend I was there. I have been to Suit Supply locations in Philadelphia, Boston, California, and 2 other locations in NYC and I must say that this Williamsburg location is by far the best. The staff here are the most attentive, knowledgeable, professional, and caring that I have experienced. I feel like each one of them are master tailors in their own right. I have to specifically bring up Darnell because he is an angel sent from suit heaven. I had initially entered this location in February of 2020 to purchase a Tux for what was then my upcoming wedding. Darnell greeted me and immediately got to work. Part of me feels as if Darnell is able to literally read minds because we (more so he I should say) created what looked to be the perfect tux without me being able to put into words exactly what I was looking for. I placed the order and began the few weeks wait that it would take to create the tux. Then March of 2020 hit. The world shut down. Darnell called me on a couple of occasions to let me know that he was on top of the entire process and not to worry about the tux. It eventually arrived back at the store but I was unable to pick it up for a few months. They stored it for me and eventually when things started to open up again and after planning our wedding for the third time, I picked up the tux. Just as advertised and advised by Darnell, it is the most beautiful tux that I have ever seen. Darnell and Suit Supply Williamsburg now have a customer for life. read more

Just buy online. Slow customer service, understaffed. The customer in front of me was paying cash and they took forever to process his payment (took all three members of the staff), then I pay by credit card and again they can't figure out how their card reader works. The store is made so that there are very few sizes of every article of clothing on display and you have to ask someone to actually try something on. But no one is available to help. Waited 15 minutes to get a size to try on and was give the incorrect size, twice. There are mirrors in the fitting rooms but some decorator had the smart idea to cover them with a print, so that the mirrors are useless. I came to buy several things and ended up buying just one minor thing since no one could help. They didn't even remove the security tag off of what I bought. It seemed like the place just opened and the staff was still scrambling to figure out how to do their job, but turns out it's been open for a while. read more

My Gf Ashley texted me that we were invited to a wedding that evening. I reached into my closet and my best suit was a wrinkled mess. A friend mentioned Suitsupply so I gave it a try. The store is located next to the trendy William Vale hotel, the spot where the wedding reception was to take place. I walked in and inquired if they had a suit in my size. The staff showed me an entire row of suits . Some were too hip for my taste, but others were classic design. I found a charcoal grey herringbone, I tried it on and it fit. The sales associate Luis, found and appropriate shirt and tie. After that he found a pair of lace up shoes, and a matching belt. Everything looked great. I was skeptical that the shirt would fit, so I tried it on. My suspicion was correct. So I purchased everything else. The suit was $399, the shoes $249, the tie $49, and the belt $79. I considered everything a bargain, except for the belt, but I purchased it anyway because it matched the shoes perfectly. I found a tailor who could alter my suit that day, and I went to the party as spiffy as I could be. The negative here is that everything in this store is designed for slender individuals. My twenty year love affair with Bolognese sauce and Barolo has given my a slight gut, and their shirts wont fit me. read more

I purchased two suits about three weeks ago and had some adjustments made. I went to pick them up and didn't try them on at the time as I was in a rush. I had to go back as the suits were not fitting me correctly, it felt too tight and restrictive in the pants. I went back in on Sunday and was prepared not to leave until the situation was resolved (side note, I have had issues with suits not fitting me correctly, mostly from another company and was very frustrated with my suit situation). Jevon he was my savior! He literally would not let me leave until I had a new suit, in the correct size, with a better fit. He replaced my two suits, took the new measurements, was extremely patient and understanding and was able to get the alterations done in time for my business trip this week. Jevon deserves an award. He spent two hours with me that day and i left feeling as though I have finally found the suit that is going to fit me perfectly, after trying for so long. I am writing a review for my husband as I was there for the whole process of buying his first SuitSupply suit, and we both have nothing but praise. Alejandro was the absolute PERFECT concierge/guide/tailor throughout the entirety of the process and truly made it an exceptional experience. We had first popped in the store a day or 2 after it had opened (you would NEVER know that they were still getting the kinks out). Luckily, Alejandro's original appointment never showed and we were able to have a "walk-in" hour and a half appointment, completely dedicated to our needs. At no point throughout the process did we feel like we were being oversold or upsold. We were educated on the process and the product and never rushed. It was as though Alejandro was completely dedicated to my husband getting a suit that made him feel as good as he looked. When the suit arrived to the store, there was some finetuning, which was expected. Each time we came back to the store, everyone that worked there was generous with their smiles and gracious when remembering our faces. I can't say enough about this experience. I am CONSTANTLY buying suits and have been attended to by dozens of suit salesman, including Suit Supply in other locations. TRAVIS, at this Williamsburg Suit Supply location, was absolutely exceptional. After thoroughly listening to my preferences, he immediately found several suits perfectly matching my tastes and listed all the reasons why he picked these out. More than this, he educated me on so many details and nuances of different fabrics, and why it tailored to my preferences. I had actually come in the store looking for a certain style that I had seen in the Manhattan store, but he taught me how a different suit may fit my preferences better, and he was absolutely correct. To add, Travis made the process so much enjoyable because he may secretly be a comedian with a PhD in suits. Other suit salesman simply get you exactly what you ask for, but Travis took the risk of showing me something else that I actually preferred even more. He took his time to really teach me about certain details I had never known before, and I thought I really knew suits. I honestly went in there to browse and possibly order something online after going to other stores to look at other options. But purely because of Travis, I bought the perfect navy summer suit on the spot. Thank you, Travis. I have become your fan, and you have won a regular. We're leaving for our wedding in two weeks. Fiancé's suit has been through 2 rounds of alterations because it is too small around the chest, and they finally decided they couldn't alter it any larger (which I feel like they should have known immediately as seam allowances don't vary and they took measurements). This all went down on Monday (its now Friday) and they promised to call with updates because obviously we're down to the wire, in the best of times reorders take 2 weeks and that's the EXACT amount of time we have, and fiancé is a nervous wreck and very upset. No calls. When fiancé calls the store it just rings and rings, and the one time he did get through the associate was a) completely non-chalant as if this isn't an emergency situation and b) impatient with him when he's trying to ask questions, cutting him off to say "I'll take care of you" but absolutely no details on how he intended to do so, and didn't even answer all of fiancé's questions before hanging up. They were supposed to give us a delivery estimate yesterday once the re-order was "in the system" (why does this take 3 days?) - and no call. Fiancé called store all afternoon, no answer. We started this process in June for a September wedding and fiancé was careful to inquire if that was enough time and they assured him it was. The Lazio blue suit I purchased here was great, but they missed the deadline for my alterations and failed to notify me. The assistant store manager wasn't much help either. Service is good when you come into the store, greeted and shown the different suits available. After ordering two suits and two shirts, some things weren't in stock and others needed to be altered. I was under the impression I would get confirmation on when alterations would be done, but never received anything. I called the store after 5 days, was told a promise date in the future. This is fine, I just wish I would have been told a date, or had confirmation after l left the store. Suit supply says on their website most alterations can be done while you wait, others take 3 days maximum. The gentleman on the phone said this location is so new and they are overwhelmed with work so things take longer - please just let customer know. read more
