I have natural black hair and used to be blonde for 5 years before going back to my natural color in 2021. I've been wanting to do something with my hair but didn't want the damage and maintenance of having blonde hair again so we went for partial highlights. Anna listened to what I wanted and gave some suggestions and it turned out beautifully! I've lived in Orlando for 1.5 years and haven't really tried to find a salon for color/highlights but I WILL be back to see her in the future. She was so friendly and professional and the vibe of the salon was similar. For my services, the total came out to $155 (which was way better than I expected!) highly recommend her and this salon and can't wait to be back in the future!

As you walk in you are greeted by a rep that checks you in. You're then ushered to a waiting area for hair and makeup services or to the locker rooms and lounge if you are receiving spa services. The locker room was set up really nicely. Lockers were large, and included a lock and key. They provide robes and sandals. The sandals were surprisingly comfy but the robe was not plus size friendly! That was my only negative. They provide ample space to freshen up before or after your service, including a shower. And a lounge with teas and water to relax as you wait for your spa tech. My service: Body Ritual included a dry scrub with exfoliating gloves, followed by warm Shea butter, then she wraps you in the blankets to seal in the moisture. She then gives you a face massage and applies a face mask and then a foot massage with reflexology. It was very relaxing and my skin felt great! Key tip! Make sure you bring your own spa headband or scrunchie. I am used to my spa providing this but this one did not have anything to protect my hair. They have many specials right now and will be offering black Friday specials that I plan to take advantage of. Overall a great experience and I can't wait to try more of their services.

5 Star update for fabulous extensions, taking them out for the summer, and being left with GREAT…read morehair (better than before the extensions!). So here's the thing- I was initially nervous about getting extensions because I had heard horror stories about how they thin your natural hair. Enter: Megan: My long-time hair color fairy and the guardian of my hair (lol). Knowing she'd never steer me wrong, when I expressed interest in extensions, I was confident my hair underneath would be fine. 1.5 years later and I just recently took the extensions out for a summer break (your girl runs hot!) and I am so impressed by the state of my scalp and hair now. Not only has my amount of hair not diminished, I even feel like it's much healthier than before the extensions. I would think this is due to expert installation as well as the fact that the extensions lengthened the time between washes (my fine hair used to get so weighed down and greasy, so I used to have to wash very often, and the extensions prolonged the volume). I will definitely be doing extensions again, especially now that I know that I can easily get them installed and take breaks as needed. Megan was also able to help me extend the life of my extensions with education on how to care for them, so I still have them in a bag for when I go back to long, voluminous, vavavoom hair. Once again- no one is allowed to touch my hair with color or extensions unless their name is Megan Essig. Previous review: 5 Stars for extensions that perfectly match my hair and have changed my whole hair routine! It's been 8 months now of having extensions by Megan and I could not be happier. She is an absolute expert at color matching and she helps you buy the extensions directly from the supplier (no upcharging here!) from there the install is totally painless and flawless. I surprise people constantly when I let them know I have extensions because it looks like my real hair and the roots don't stick out prominently. The best part? I thought this would add to my hair care routine time, but on the contrary- I can go longer between washes and styling because it holds the style so well and doesn't get greasy. So now my natural hair is healthier. Truly wild because of the things I've heard from others about what extensions did to their hair. I think it's a testament to the way she installs them and the care that's taken. She also does my color- read my previous reviews for how obsessed I am with her taking me from dark brunette to an icy blonde. Forever a client!

I've been seeing Megan for 3 years now and I'll never trust another person with my hair again!!!…read more I've been getting extensions off and on for the last 10 years. I've had all types of extensions - tape-ins, k-tips, and wefts. I can speak from my own 10 year extension journey when I say it is very important to do your research before getting extensions. When I started seeing Megan, she spent an immense amount of time showing me where my where my previous hair dresser had damaged my hair and showed me how I can take better care of my hair. I had literal bald spots. She focused on getting my REAL hair healthy before we even entered into extension territory. Im happy to report that after a year of extensions with Megan, my hair is actually HEALTHIER and (shockingly) LONGER!!!!! than it was before getting extensions. Megan is the only stylist I've seen that has been able to keep my hair as healthy as it was pre-extensions. She truly cares about your hair health at the end of the day. Plus, every time I tell someone I have extensions they're SHOCKED because of how well Megan can blend them into your real hair. On top of that, any time I come to Megan with an issue she always has a solution. I went through a phase where my hair was getting greasy extremely fast no matter how often or not I would wash it. Megan recommended hair care products that helped my scalp balance back out within a week. And the cherry on top is a glass of wine while she pampers you

I felt so at home in the salon, the area where they do the chemical services is like a cozy movie theater, and as someone who loves movies, I appreciated this environment. And the owner is such a sweet lady, unintentionally funny, helpful, and good at what she does! (:

Where to start -- 1.) my haircut took over two hours and 90…read moreminutes of it was Courtney blow drying my hair? Like she had to rewet my hair with a spray bottle to blow dry it because the blow dry took so long because she wanted it pin straight and flat even though I told her before she started cutting that I don't like my naturally curly hair blown pin straight or hanging down in my face. I can appreciate quality takes time but... 2.) I asked to keep my length, layers in the back that started at the crown of my head and kept graduating down (lots of layers) and heavy curtain bangs with face framing layers in the front. Courtney took off four inches after we discussed how she didn't see any damage in my ends, one barely there layer in the back, no face framing, and less than a quarter inch of bangs on either side that are crooked. The left side skims my cheekbone. The right side "bang" goes under my chin. Should I have complained right then and there? Probably but then Courtney would have wanted another 2 hours and a chance to fix it and I wasn't letting her near my head again. So I paid (and like a well trained sucker tripped 30%) and went home to find another salon to fix the disaster tomorrow. I wish her well, maybe she can get better with experience and a good mentor that explains that it's about the haircut the client wants and not the haircut she wants to do but as it stands I'd feel guilty sending my worst childhood bully to this salon for a haircut with Courtney and that's saying something because I'm kinda low key petty Adding -- after leaving a review on google the salon responded (you can see in their google reviews) that basically it's not their fault, it's a me problem that they gave me a crooked haircut and they "wished me well". Not even an attempt to apologize, refund my money or make it right in any way. Apparently accountability is another service that Vie doesn't offer at her salon, along with professionalism, integrity and the ability to cut a straight set of bangs.
