We stayed at the house and it was so nice, we were able to stay up and take care of what we needed to prior to the wedding as I was a DIY bride....Gary is an amazing person to work with always answered our calls great at communication. We couldn't have been happier with Suisun Valley Inn. The location, amenities, staff are all simply outstanding. Shout out to Gary who is prompt, thorough and patient. He is a seasoned professional but also very warm and kind. He happily provided us with solutions/contacts for vendors when we approached him. We recently celebrated our elopement here. We were lucky to secure our dates. From the initial conversation over email/phone, to checking out the venue over video calls (we had just moved out of state at the time) Gary was accommodating and willingly answered multiple questions. Leading up to the event, all communications were prompt to address specific questions regarding either decorations, vendors or logistics. During the stay itself - we were extremely happy with the amenities and our guests too enjoyed themselves thoroughly. We would highly recommend this venue for a celebration that wants to enjoy a family style stay for a few nights leading up to the main event or just want to enjoy the Inn by itself. read more

We LOVE Suisun Valley Inn! The property is spacious and secluded. The house has 8 bedrooms and 6 bathrooms, with 3 king size bed that can be separated and converted into two twins. We hosted a traveling Polynesian dance group here in August 2022 for an 8-night stay. It was convenient to have the group together for day sessions and dance practice, and it was a peaceful retreat for all. On the Saturday of their stay, we hosted a Polynesian dinner show for friends and family to enjoy. It was open to anyone who heard about the event and Suisun Valley Inn was the perfect venue. Gary and his team were extremely helpful. Gary was even flexible to accommodate special needs like the storage of sound equipment. It was very helpful to have a parking attendant and someone to help with bathrooms during the event as part of the event package. Overall, we had a great experience at Suisun Valley Inn and we hope to host our group there again next year. I highly recommend this property for your next event. read more

I was the Maid of Honor for my best friend's wedding on October 1st. The property is BEAUTIFUL! Gary and his team were super amazing! They were so nice and set everything up on time and were very helpful. It is definitely an older house but has been kept up nicely. The rooms were all spacious, clean and comfortable. I especially loved the books everywhere. It was so convenient to have majority of the wedding party staying at the inn with us. Definitely a great wedding venue. read more

RUN. I don't even know where to start, besides here: I don't ever leave reviews unless something is out of this world wonderful or completely awful, unfortunately our experience here was the latter. My husband and I got married on 8/3/2024, a day I will never forget and sadly can hardly reflect on because I'm reminded of how bad our experience was. The first red flag was when Gary yelled and spoke very rudely to our wedding planner, dj, and cater who were on site for a viewing. Yes there were scheduling miscommunications, but raising your voice and being rude to anyone is unacceptable. We were told that we would be able to be in by 1 since the guest staying before weren't having an event and would be out early, but as the day approached that wasn't the case and the interior of the house still hadn't been finished cleaning by 3, our wedding started at 4. On to probably the worst part, as I was walking down the aisle the small house on the grounds started to play rap music VERY loud, at the exact same time I started walking down the aisle. They then did it again as we started our vows and again, right when our Indian ceremony began. Luckily I was caught up in the moment, but as you can imagine was horrified, when over 50 of our guests came up to me the next day to tell me that they heard loud inappropriate music as I was coming down the aisle, and as we were exchanging vows. I was not only horrified, I was embarrassed, and heartbroken that those special moments were ruined because of a senseless person intentionally ruined them. When night came, we were told that the venue staff would turn on the outside lighting, they didn't. When my Wedding Planner went to go look for the venue staff, they were sitting in the garage with headphones on, he had to tap them on the shoulder to ask them to turn the lights on which they then responded" idk how go ask the other guy". We were told that the lights would be on for our first dance, they were not, again another lie and embarrassment as only some of the lights were on. During our first dance, multiple guest reported hearing two males, having a very loud conversation off to the side that included profanity and inappropriate language. Another special moment ruined. When I described the venue staff, they confirmed that it was them. Throughout the duration of the wedding, we were told that the venue staff would be responsible for cleaning up the grounds, including the bathrooms and filling the toilet paper and empty the garbage. This was not the case, our Wedding Planner again had to go find the venue staff in the garage, tap them on the shoulder and ask them to change the toilet paper multiple times. The response was "here's the toilet paper you can change it" and he threw it in the table. The garbages in the bathrooms were overflowing, the Wedding Planner had to ask one of my wedding guest to empty the bathroom garbage. Multiple times throughout the night the Wedding Planner had to ask the venue staff to please not be out around guest sitting on the floor as he was and on his phone. We used the venues, Dancefloor, which they set up, it was installed improperly. There was nothing underneath, leveling the dance floor so throughout the night pieces started falling apart, causing my four-year-old daughter to trip as well as many other guest. The Wedding Planner had to fix the floor multiple times to ensure our guest did not get hurt. The next morning I woke up with bug bites throughout my arms and other guest that stayed at the home, also reported the same bites. When we were getting ready at the venue, and the cleaning staff were still there because they were not done cleaning in time the Wedding Planner observed poor cleaning habits of their cleaning staff and also in conversation with Gary heard him disclose that he takes the bedding home to wash at his home, according to the Wedding Planner this is against hotel and wedding venue regulations. After hearing everyone's concerns and being enraged by the fact that we cannot look back on our wedding day without remembering the disaster that it was we decided to email Gary and ask for a refund since we did not feel he withheld his part of the contract and because our experience was so poor. We were hoping that Gary would understand our concerns and would give us some sort of peace, but instead he invited us back to the home to discuss our concerns and gave us every excuse under the sun for every single concern we had. Where do I start. So I've been meaning to leave a review about the owner/property manager of this establishment for a while. I believe his name was Gary? A older white gentleman who has a some good size to him. Anyways I'm a professional DJ and had a wedding event back here 2019. First off, the day of the event I was asked to keep my speakers facing away from the neighbors since they're was complaints in the past with sound. Sure no problem, I completely understand but in my opinion you shouldn't be venue if you are worried about the neighbors complaining especially since the noise ordinance doesn't start till 10:00. 2nd, To keep them in cut out Wine Barrels to reduce sound. I said no to that since my speakers could be potentially overheated. Also the placement of them being on the ground would just sound horrible due to zero coverage. 3rd I had to set up my speakers in a completely different manner in which I'm accustomed to, throwing off the way I can hear and level out my music and ensure everything sounds on par. We than discussed that I need to keep the sounds levels down and that they're be another gentlemen who will be on the site, making sure it doesn't get too loud, while Gary was off to another event. All of this should have been a prerequisite before any DJ/band should be signed off on, not the day of. It's very unprofessional and puts us venders in a awkward position. The other gentleman who was in charge was always around, checked in and never told me once to turn it down throughout the night. When Gary came back later the evening, when the dancing portion of night had already begun, he immediately came to me to confront me about the sound level. I said ok but he needs to chat with his 2nd man in charge because he never had any complaints with my music levels. As Gary got more aggravated he than assaulted me by grabbing my arm and pulling me towards him in a very aggressive manner. This was in the middle of my set with many on lookers inside the house and guests who were in the dance floor who witnessed it. I than had to hop on the mic and ask for the bride and groom to the DJ booth to discuss with them what just happened. I agreed to turn it down as Gary stood their and threatened to shut the power off. The bride and groom should never have to deal with such petty inconveniences such as this, especially on their wedding day. Not only was I physically assaulted but he never apologized and carried on with a smile that showed his true colors. As a professional DJ the last thing I want to do is be a burden in any way and always want to work with venues and wedding planners to the best of my abilities. I ultimately should have pressed charges, and sued for bodily harm, assault and emotional damage. No one especially the DJ should have to deal with what I did that evening. He is very lucky that I didn't. read more

I wish I could give this venue and Gary 10 stars. Seriously! Our daughter and her groom got married at the mansion and we all stayed there together, decorating and preparing for the wedding that took place on Saturday June 10, 2023. Gary was extremely attentive, always was checking in with the bride and assisted in anything we needed. He made himself available to us daily but didn't intrude in our space. The venue itself was absolutely stunning. The place was set back from the road and was quiet and tranquil. Gary and his help set up all the tables, chairs, dance floor and wine barrels where we needed them. We followed the rules of the venue and did not have any issues with noise or neighbors at all. The mansion included 8 bedrooms and I believe 5 or 6 bathrooms, a full kitchen, dining area and living room along with a hot tub located outside, oh, and a bbq. We all had room to stretch out and get what we needed accomplished. Lets not forget the beauty of this venue and the photo ops. Our photographer didn't have a bad angel anywhere. The trees provided the perfect amount of shade for guests and we felt relaxed and joyful being is such a gorgeous place. Gary returned $1000 to the bride and groom because not all of their guests attended. We had planned on 150 but had 100. You do not find that kind of ethical character these days and it was much appreciated. Thank you Gary for your generosity and hard work. We all had a blast! read more
