Disclaimer: I have an interest in that business doing well as I represent one of their suppliers.
Disclaimer 2: since my minimoon in Tuscany I more than ever in love with Italian food and wine.
Basically this is not an impartial review. Yet, as a genuine food and wine lover and customer, I sustain that this review is genuine and objective.
Now that we have the boring stuff out of the way... I LOVE THIS PLACE!! So far...
The guys passion for their food is undeniable, true Italians at heart, any criticism is strongly heartfelt and dealt with. The place looks super cute but is super small too. You have 3 large tables and that's it, so you share your table with other food lovers like you, which is great.
The food we had was simply the tastiest Italian food I ate on this Island. Mind you I mostly stay clear of Italian restaurants. We shared the marinated artichokes with bread first. The wife had the lamb ragu pasta which I tasted and was just how you want it: Al debate pasta, rich tomato-based meat ragu with basil. I had the baby squid pasta and again, all the ingredients could be tasty: fresh squids tasting of the sea, white wine, garlic, parsley, a small kick of chilli.
I won't comment on wine as I supply it so you can make up your own mind.
But after 2 mains and a starter I am convinced of the authenticity of the ingredients and the skills of the boys. This is the kind of food I could eat everyday, every meal. It's early days, there is definitely more to come. I don't know if the other dishes taste as good/are executed as well, but we'll be back to verify very soon!!
