I'd decided it wasn't meant to be but then Yelp happened and upon searching Pure Sugar's site she had an opening at 4pm today. I was apprehensive but all her reviews talked about how sweet, personable and how keen her attention to detail was. For once the people spoke truth!!! Brandy is AMAZING!!! Waxing lady bits is personal business and can be traumatizing with the wrong hedge slayer in there just rip'n up weeds like they not attached to a million nerve endings! I normally take a bottle of tea tree soothing lotion and slater it on in the car after Sugaring. I'm out of habit and forgot today so I was worried how my drive home was going to be. I worried for nothing, Brandy even did the deep breath in strong exhale moments for the tough spots without me even saying anything or asking for those pauses pre-lift. Her sugar was buttery soft and warm and she knew the right moment to change her ball. Ugh I can't stand when someone keeps trying to use a sugar ball turned cold and hard on me, that don't feel good mam, stop it!!! Not only was she clearly intuned she was thorough, she got her inspector gadget magnifying light and tweezed the rebellious kids right out. Lastly, I forgot to ask her what it was but she rub something on my skin and it simmered down so well that I didn't need to apply anything when I got home!!! Normally you have to pay for any kind of soothing cream for after care but Brandy obviously gets that it should be part of the service Plus what better way to guarantee return customer than making sure they have as comfortable of an experience as possible! A+ for everything!!!

I got for the express spray tan, which allows you to rinse anywhere from 1-3 hours depending on your preferred level of color. I decided to wash off after an hour and seriously loved the results! I got a natural, sun-kissed glow without looking orange or overdone. The solution is also paraben-free, organic, and sugar-based, which was a huge plus for me. Overall, such a convenient way to get bronzed and glowing without spending hours in the sun

She is incredibly detail oriented and somehow has a better memory than I do. She'll remember where I was going or what I had planned the last time I came in, even when I've completely forgotten I told her. It's those little personal touches that make the experience different. More importantly, Brodie is meticulous with her spray tans. She takes her time, pays attention to the details, and makes sure everything looks natural and even. You never feel rushed or like you're just the next appointment. There are plenty of places to get a spray tan. Great service and someone who actually remembers and cares about her clients is a lot harder to find. Brodie and Sugar Coated are absolutely !

I got my first ever Brazilian here. From the get-go, I felt at ease by Heather as she's very kind and easy to talk to. This potentially embarrassing, frightening and painful process turned out to be quick and easy, I was so surprised that it didn't feel like torture!! Over time I've gotten quite used to sugaring and yes I've tried other sugaring studios when I moved out from OC, but no studios have won me over like Sugar+Water+Lemon. Heather is such a lovely person and so great at what she does, I always leave feeling like a million bucks. 5/5 stars all the way :)

You can tell she absolutely loves what she does because it shines through in her work. I was nervous at first because I thought sugaring would hurt like waxing--but it doesn't! Cheryl took the time to explain the technique and its benefits. Over time, sugaring leads to less hair growth, and the hair that does come back is lighter and softer. How amazing is that? The most challenging part of the process is growing the hair out for a couple of weeks beforehand (lower legs for me)--but honestly, it's so worth it in the end! Cheryl made me feel completely at ease, and her inviting, warm space only added to the positive experience. If you're considering sugaring, I highly recommend visiting Cheryl at Sugar Cabana.
