I wish this would have been double checked prior to being used on me because even if it's probably fine only happening once and (hopefully) it wasn't in a high dosage.. but was unable to confirm this - it still caused me immense anxiety that I really wish was avoided. I washed it off and emailed my doctor. But I still feel awful and wish more precaution was taken. This was my first facial since becoming pregnant (almost 27 weeks now) and I was really looking forward to it and thought I'd be safe here. Unfortunately I didn't feel safe and I wish I never came now. They don't have pregnancy pillows to accommodate pregnant individuals either. I always noticed that with her sugaring "technique" (maybe it was her quickness? or maybe magic?) it seemed to hurt less than with other estheticians I'd been to, and it helped that we always chatted throughout the appointments to make it less painful or uncomfortable. Now that I live out of the country I don't see Dakota on a regular basis, but while I was visiting Washington recently for Thanksgiving knew I had to go try a facial at The Clean Esthetics - and it was so worth it!
