Cool spot with unique ice cream options! Plenty of parking in the lot behind and some in front, with a nice enclosed side yard with plenty of games, seating, and even some special surprises for kids. The staff was friendly, service was quick, and the ice cream was tasty. $5 for single scoop, $7 for a double scoop. We got mango coconut, strawberry, and cookies and cream and all were well worth it!

This ice cream place is a pickup window with an outdoor seating area near the river. The seasons were clearly changing when I visited and it was barely above freezing. You might think that outdoor ice cream in cold weather on a midweek day would not be a draw, but there was a short but continuous line of people here, stretching the efforts of the one person working. So right there, you know this is probably really good. They had some interesting ice cream sandwich type options, and despite the line moving slowly I did not object to having extra time to make a decision. Their cones are generic and I would not recommend them. The ice cream itself delivered. I am a mint chip guy, and their version carried a fresh-tasting hit. However, the real standout was an apple cider sorbet. I am not usually a big fan of sorbets, but this one really hit hard with the flavor of local apples (this bucolic region is the kind of place you'd want to go for apples) and a hint of cinnamon spice. Even though it was a hot cider kind of a night, I experienced no sense of disappointment upon consuming this fantastic cup of ice cream. Flavors will rotate, but I suspect that visitors will continue to encounter delightfully difficult decisions.

Amazing selection! I love a unique flavor and they had lots. Service was great, they let me sample the honey sea salt latte and the apricot amoretti. The apricot gave major spring vibes but the honey sea salt latte was the winner that's what I got on my cone, it was amazing! My partner had the mocha latte and he was very impressed with the chocolate nibs. The outdoor space is very cute and would definitely be a good group hang out spot with lots of seating and games. The only thing that might get a little tricky is parking if it is full.

Unbelievably slow! I had waited until the line died down to even order my milkshake. 15 minutes later I still don't have it.

Seriously - you can't get a simple order of 2 cones right? I am so sick of paying high prices and getting things I didn't order!

I work at an ice cream shop myself and although it might be annoying to have someone come 20 minutes before closing I never let my smile and service fade. Getting ice cream should always be the best point of each customers day and the customer should not be leaving feeling like you were annoying the workers just by doing what the shop was made for. Love this place and the customer service is usually always great but tonight it was way off. You can tell these aren't weekend workers because no way a Monday shift got you that annoyed.

The workers looked to be about high school age and the service was just average. There are a few dairy free options, which was nice, so I tried the lemonade sorbet. Just okay. Not the best sorbet I've had. My boyfriend tried some kind of chocolate ice cream and said it was decent. He commented the scoops were a bit smaller than he expected. Price is very high for just ice cream. Kilwins is a bit cheaper and chaos is definitely a better bang for your buck. Wasn't that impressed with the flavor. Overall it's a decent place to grab ice cream but nothing amazing.

As usual, I'm looking for the best coffee roaster to go to, and Lone Light Coffee was on the top of my list in this area. The coffee shop is on the smaller side, but it was warm and comfortable. The baristas were nice and three of them gave me their input on which single origin I should choose for my pour-over. POUR-OVER - MKT Price +6.50 for Mohammed Aba Nura - Ethiopia (tasting notes: Strawberry, white chocolate, hazelnut) I wanted the craziest tasting option they had, and they recommended this one since it's pretty popular and well-liked among customers. However, one of the barista said he didn't really like it himself. I figured I should still try it. The sips I had while it was still warm was pretty juicy and sweet, but I really didn't like the notes once it cooled down (about 20 minutes later), which tasted sour and off-putting. I should have listened to that one barista and went with a different single origin option. Overall, good roaster -- just unfortunate that I tried something that wasn't for me. The baristas seem knowledgeable and passionate about their craft. I would love to come back next time and try another single origin offering.

The baristas are excellent at making coffee, friendly, and the seasonal drinks are creative. They have a cardamom syrup that's delicious in lattes. The shop itself is very cute, with a handful of tables and stools at the counter. There's a couple of tables outside too. I wouldn't recommend trying to get work done here during a busy time since it's not a huge space.
