Thom fully explained all documents, went over all figures with us and was professional throughout this purchase. Since our purchase we have had two different friends use him as a buyers agent, with great success, and another friend used him as their selling agent. We have all found Thom to be responsive to all our questions. I cannot say enough good things about this agency. I highly recommend Thom as either a buyers or sellers agent. His knowledge of lakefront property is unmatched! We have purchased many second homes over the years and Thom made this transaction a truly enjoyable experience.

He comes to me one day shortly after my home was on the market insisting that I sell my place to his "best" friend .......and for "much less" money than the asking price. He was quite indignant about it. I was floored! It took me for a loop that he would come to my home and do this .I don't like being bullied.......... I sent him a text and told him what I thought of him AND his friend "DOTTIE". ANOTHER BEWARE.. he takes the listing and sells it off to other realtors..........he showed my house only once..........to his "friend" Good luck to anyone who hires him..........................

For about 5 years I've wanted to get my land surveyed. Finally decided to get it done. I contacted…read morea few local survey companies and one I've used previously. Two got back to me and the others didn't. I chose Promised Land Survey and am extremely glad I did. From the start of the whole process was a detailed quote and information on how the survey would be done, the timeframe and a cost breakdown. The cost was extremely competitive and well worth it! Before they came out, I was notified and they arrived exactly when they said they would. I went to talk to the crew (even during the pandemic) and they were nothing but professional. I'm a bit of a geek so I was asking a bunch of questions how this works and they spent the time to give me an education on the buried re-bar, how they coordinate the technical aspects of the survey with their home office. It was honestly fascinating and I appreciated the time they spent with me. As far as the work went, they did a fantastic job, the put the stake line where I asked them to, gave me a tour of where my property corners were and asked if I had any more questions. I would hire this company in a heartbeat again, from the beginning to end nothing but a fantastic and pleasant experience. Thanks for a job well done! -Steve

Classic situations of overbilling ,turned out they charged me for an other clients work, To many excuses ie. survey crew to busy, small job s are hard to schedule.ect. We ended our relationship today 8/2011 My account with Promised Land was always paid as they had a large retainer of mine.It is difficult to support a business that charges alot of money and all you get are excuess, and lack of performance

Big Island Pond Remodeling & Replacement Specialists

Big Island Pond Remodeling & Replacement Specialists

If you were searching for a trustworthy, high-quality, fair-priced, and reliable contractor for…read moreyour remodeling and replacement needs, then you found 'em. Big Island Pond Remodeling & Replacement Specialists started with us by way of coming to our rescue one day, but ended up putting together show room quality work that was, and still is, the envy of our neighbors. You can stop reading right there if you like, but feel free to take a look at our journey... I first met Fred Pappalardo where he was volunteering his time and expertise with a local youth organization. I have to say, I liked him immediately, but I wasn't quite ready to take on any large projects at my Derry home. Well, winter would have something to say about that, because before I could get a handle on them, much of my home was overtaken with ice dams. Not knowing quite who to call, I called Fred for advice at first. Without hesitation Fred and his crew were at my house mitigating what had become some record-breaking ice dams. In my case the damage was extensive, but I really felt like I had a trustworthy friend in my corner to guide us through the process from insurance adjuster to full recovery. Some of the damage from the ice dams meant a bit of remodeling in our master bathroom was inevitable. Noting this was the case, my wife and I opted to move forward with a full master bath remodel we had been putting off. Fred, his wife Michelle, and the crew at Big Island Pond Remodeling approached the work with the same sense of urgency and balanced care I witnessed the first time they were at my house. For me, the real test of character in evaluating a contractor is the way they treat your home. Do they track mud in?, Do they bang walls?, Do they clean up after themselves?, Can you find where they took short cuts? BIP simply does it right, all the time. Today our bathroom could easily make the cover of any home improvement magazine and take top prize were it a contest of craftsmanship. If you are looking for a remodel, call Fred at Big Island Pond and tell him you want to see pictures of the remodeled bathroom from the house that had the disastrous ice dams, you'll be glad you did.
