I was quite surprised by how nice this gas station is. We stopped to gas up and use the restrooms. Located right off the highway, super convenient. The inside is clean and orderly. We walked past a hot food area on the way to the restrooms. It smelled good. Looked to be mainly fried foods. We didn't wander around the other side of the shop where typical gas station fare were: candies, chips, drinks, etc. The restrooms were really well kept. Like, really nice. Like... you feel like it's ok to actually SIT when you pee nice. We saw a sign for showers. Wonder how those are. My guess is not too bad. We recommend this place for sure. read more

I adore this place. Right down the road from a sleepy distribution center, they are well poised to accommodate any trucks that wander in, no matter what time! Usually I stop driving my semi by 4pm, to avoid the parking battle. This is the only place I know of that I can let that rock solid rule slide. There is an extremely busy full service semi shop and truck wash on site, that is known in the trucking community for their extremely high quality work. Showers are a rock bottom bargain, $7! Includes soap and towels. There is food available around the clock, and it is walking distance to an amazing Mexican restaurant. Employees are always friendly and helpful, even when I'm too stupid to understand how the door to the shower works, so thats a major plus! Clean restrooms, large truck parking area. Clean, paved parking lot. Now, if only most truckers would park properly. Charging areas for phone & computer. Deli, coffee & soft drink areas. They are looking for help for all shifts. It is an AMBEST truck stop. Looks better & more well kept, than most of the AMBESTS' I've seen. While the restrooms are clean, they do not dust the top part of the stalls, walls or hand bars in the handicapped stalls. And we are talkin an eighth to quarter inch of obvious dust. read more

I'm appalled. 15-20 people were in here absolutely maskless. Employees told me the business owner doesn't care about the mandate and doesn't enforce it. Some covid related ads about social distancing were up, but nothing about masks. I had to change my 1 year old in my back seat because he can't wear a mask, so taking him in would have put him at risk. I can only imagine how little they're doing about sanitizing if they are that ignorant about the importance of masks during this time. This is the only gas station in the last 1000 miles I've hit between the last 3 states that was so woefully non-compliant. Even the employees had their masks either entirely pulled down or had their noses exposed. I'm furious at the blatant disregard for the health and well-being of their customers and the clear lack of care by the employees behind the register when questioned on the mandate. So I'm northbound on I-65, coming out of Alabama...I don't buy gas (or anything else) in Tennessee since they allow photo enforcement. Learned not to stop at busy Bowling Green, so I end up here at Exit 6. I want a toilet, food and gas...in one stop. Gas...no problem. Shell is Top Tier, it's cheap. I'm happy. Toilet. Why Kentucky has very few rest areas is a mystery. This gas station advertises the nicest restrooms on I-65. I haven't checked them all out but can attest these are lovely. Top 5% of all public restrooms I've ever been in. Anywhere. Food. Miss. The Krispy Krunchy chicken or whatever it's called...ugh. I don't mind a restaurant inside of gas station -- so long as it's equal quality to a standalone. Not even sure if this chain has standalone stores...but when you're plunking down three fiddy for a sandwich, you expect it to be made "fresh" for you, not pulled out from a heat lamp. And the clerk was very sullen. It's no better than "rolly food" from a gas station. I should have spent the extra time to find a proper restaurant at this exit. The sandwich had been basking under the lamps for a while. I'm northbound on 65 before the first bite, and the bun had started to coagulate against the chicken which wasn't especially moist, spicy nor delicious. read more

Don't expect hot chicken at this place.The chicken in under a heat lamp. Apparently the heat lamps are set to low..Chicken is good,however.
