Understated, clean restaurant. Excellent service. First rate sushi. Chef Haya was excellent! Easy to park; they validate. We will be back. SOON!

So happy this place is here. Great food, great service, and the price makes sense for what you're getting. The Obanzai Lunch and Veggie Tempura? Perfection. I really enjoyed the variety - sashimi, blackened cod, seared duck! Yum! Marissa was the sweetest! She took great care of me and my pup as we enjoyed the amazing weather in their outdoor seating area. Parking at West Edge is easy, which is always a bonus. They validate for two hours!

I tried their Sushi Kaiseki course. It was amazing!!! I had some appetizers before sushi. They were Hassun , sashimi, grilled fish, owan soup. All the fish were fresh and good quality. Service was fantastic. Totally come back and try more food for sure.

This restaurant was an amazing experience from start to finish. The sushi was incredibly fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared, tasted high quality, and the sushi practically melted in my mouth. The appetizers were just as impressive. The atmosphere was cozy and modern, and the staff was friendly, attentive, and welcoming throughout the meal

Food was fantastic. Everything we ordered was on point. Favorites were the yuzu roll and various nigiri.

Their rich chicken ramen was absolutely delicious with tender chicken slices, al dente noodles, a perfectly cooked boiled egg, and thinly sliced radish that added a really fresh taste to the dish. The seasoning provided on the table gave a nice umami kick to the ramen. The place is small but we were able to find seats for 2 on a Friday night at 6:30. There were still tables intermittently available throughout our meal. Service was efficient and nice. We found free street parking nearby but make sure you read the signs; many side streets do not allow parking after 6 pm unless you have a permit.

The Japanese BBQ chicken topping was grilled on charcoal and had a nice smokey flavor. But as I continued to chew on the chicken it tasted like light fluid. I asked the waitress if is normal and she reassured us is completely fine. But the lighter fluid is so strong that my friend couldn't finish their meal. PSA: grilled meat on charcoal will have a lighter fluid taste if the charcoal is not completely turned heated into hot ash. Please if you do taste light fluid is NOT normal

Paired it with their Japanese tea and it was the perfect combo, the tea cut through the richness and made it feel like a proper little ritual instead of just a snack. Cozy atmosphere, great for catching up with a friend or grabbing a quiet solo moment. Staff was attentive and quick to bring things out. Portion was generous for the price too. Already thinking about going back to try the three-layer cream puff next. Food: Omurice w/ Demi-Glace ($16): The egg was really fluffy and the rice was absolutely packed with flavor. The pieces of chicken inside were juicy and it all came together quite will with the sauce. The dish also came with miso soup and a salad, both of which were delicious. Fried Mackerel ($7.50): The breading was quite nice and crispy, but not too much. The fish was really good and the tarter sauce helps enhance it. Lemonade ($3.50): Was a standard lemonade, strongly thinking it's Minute Maid Lemonade, but it came with free refills which isn't bad. P.S. There was a lovely couple having their first date next to me, here's to hoping things turn out well for them

Tons of…read moredifferent okonomiyaki options, as well as omurice, takoyaki, and other classic Japanese options. The spicy GOAM with crispy noodles as the base was great, definitely not as much of a spicy flavor as I thought, as it seemed the main source was pickled jalapeños tucked into the layers. I personally am not a fan of a concentrated spicy jalapeño bite so I ended up not getting much spice. However the rest of the pancake was very good! The loaded Kaisen was indeed piled high with seafood, but I thought the flavor was a bit light in the pancake itself. The seafood did seem fresh and tender though! The hamburg omurice was absolutely delicious. Something about their demiglace sauce here was special, I'm usually not a fan but this time I ate every drop! The steak was also tender and juicy, a perfect combination with the dish as a whole. At a late lunch time (2PMish) it wasn't too busy, and service was pretty quick! The interior is casual and you can even see the chefs working. I'd definitely come back to Chinchikurin, I can't wait to try more!

I started eating mine and I realize how little meat is in it and I'm just kind of laughing because my friends are so large. The waiter, so busy that we cannot get his attention to show him. He finally has time we catch his attention because he's so overwhelmed and I told him about that. He says he'll be glad to take care of it. He asked if I like some more. I said that would be nice. He goes to the kitchen and tells them and they said NO, I gave the proper amount! This was the proper portion and the Kitchen actually refused to do what the waiter asked to make things right. Just amazing. I'm sure if the owner knew how poorly this kitchen is being a run they would probably do something about it, and hopefully they read this to find out that your chef is clueless on how to take care of customers! I'm not sure what the future will bring?
