I used to do my taxes on TurboTax. My husband's company issues him RSUs. There never seemed to be…read morean area in TT that addresses RSUs and yet I did my taxes for the next 2 years. By the 3rd year I really felt things were amiss. We owed the IRS so much by tax time so I went to seek out a professional. I was specifically looking for an enrolled agent. They specialize in taxation. Isn't that the best person you can get to do your taxes? I certainly believe so. I found John Rumbold and after the initial consultation, my first impression was that this man knows what he is doing. I gladly handed over my current and past filed taxes and he went to work correcting back to 2013. It resulted in a big refund back from the IRS for all those years of wrongly filed taxes and over payment. John will be preparing my taxes from here on. Professional and efficient. Knowledgeable and thorough. Easy to talk to and you can learn a lot. Most importantly, quality work.

He was able to help me avoid paying and get a refund for both years. He is so knowledgeable and his service was unbelievable. It was soooo convenient him coming out to my home and efileing my taxes from my dining room table. He emailed me a copy of my return as soon as we were done. As a busy mom and wife with obligations, it was so nice not to have to worry about going outside of my home and having to get childcare. When my kids started fussing, he pulled out coloring books for them so my husband and I could focus on our appointment. You can tell he has done this a time or two. I am so glad I am finally caught up and he definitely has my business this upcoming year.

Details: My husband will soon be 65 so I began to research Medicare Part B. I found Garrett online when searching for the answers to some questions. I found his site contained valuable information that I didn't find elsewhere. Throughout my interaction with him from my first exposure (his websites https://medicare-supplement-comparison.com/ and for people turning 65 https://65medicare.org/garrett-ball-founder-65medicare/ ) and subsequent contact by online chat, email and phone I've been impressed with his friendly and professional communication, knowledge, thoroughness and very high level of service. He got my husband signed up with the best plan for his needs and at the best price. I'm very detail-oriented and my standards are high for someone in a role where precision is critically important. Garrett met and exceeded my high expectations. He's licensed in most states and I recommend him to anyone interested in Medicare Part B supplemental or advantage coverage.

We switched to Allstate! This switch was an easy one for my husband but an enlightening one for me…read more This isn't a review bragging about how "I saved a bunch of money by switching to such and such". We actually increased our monthly bill with switching, but let me tell you why I'm happy about it! I've always been the quintessential "loyal customer" and rarely switched up. I thought it was just easier to keep the same coverage and as long as the price didn't change or go up drastically I was good. Boy was I wrong! My family size changed, my assets changed, I mean a lot changed for the better in my life but the coverage I had prior to switching was not sufficient anymore for where I am currently. Well folks, let me tell you why it's great to have an agent that's better than being "like a good neighbor that's there". Not only did Vendell educate us on the fact that we were underinsured and made sure we were properly insured with Allstate for life's unexpected curveballs but, he really took the time to break down and help me understand in depth what my coverage options meant, and provided hypothetical example scenarios for me to grasp how it's used (it's how my brain works). He deserves a Gold Medal for his patience with me and my fiftylevin million questions. Oh, and the cherry on top is our new and improved coverage is actually competitively priced! By the end of our meeting, Vendell showed me that we really are in good hands and it's more than just a slogan. We're actually in GREAT hands because you can tell that this is more than just business for him. Vendell really makes you feel like you're family and that he genuinely cares and wants the best for you, your kids, your future plans and all that you've worked for. All these years before switching to Allstate, I just periodically shopped for the cheapest quote and played around trying to "name my price and build my bundles" to get the best pricing between insurers but nobody could beat my price. The reality is, nobody was going to beat my price because the price of the life I'm currently living is worth more than what I was paying to insure and I'm glad Vendell took the time to educate me on that. I say all this to say, speaking to a random 1-800 person somewhere around the world with no connection and feeling like you're just a number versus having someone that you end up building a personal rapport with and can call when you need and/or meet with in person is top tier and I'm glad we have that now. Check him out and give him a chance to give you a quote. I'm confident you won't regret it.
