In my many attempts to reach a mutual understanding with you, you've apologized for nothing and after asking me to not post a review, you completely quit responding altogether. I'm also surprised how a company would reference other positive customer reviews to discount my very honest experience with your office. No one gets it right 100% of the time. I said everything that happened as honestly as I could including direct quotes we heard from your office. As far as the tree goes, your office's errors were so egregious and the effects of following such advice would have been so damaging to us, I have no other option than to post reviews. A sincere apology from you in private over email would've kept me from pursuing any of this publicly and I'm regretful that could not happen. Original Comment: This office has caused my wife and I extreme stress, frustration, and the loss of thousands of dollars we should've received from claims. We had a policy inactive on our account that would've paid out over $10k when I was hospitalized for 30 days and nearly died. When we confronted our agent at Rick's office, we were told by our agent Kayce that "this is a good learning experience for me". Then we requested a policy get cancelled and it was never done. We paid for that policy for around 8 months when we didn't need it. The money was eventually refunded, but we had to reach out and be very firm for this to happen. Lastly, we had a claim we needed to file because a massive tree fell on our property, blocked our driveway, and landed on our neighbors cars. We were told incorrect information FOUR separate times by staff members of this office, including having the tree removed before filing the claim. Had we followed any of that advice, we would not have been able to properly file a claim that could get approved. I had to contact a different State Farm office to get correct information on how I should proceed. We quickly transferred to that office (they are GREAT, and highly recommended - Elizabeth Soots State Farm in Kernersville). Again, this request was not done completely and we had to follow up with them again to do it correctly. Every step of the way it has seemed that incompetence, negligence, and laziness has been the driving factor for how we've been dealt with by Rick and his team. When I asked for him to take accountability for these mistakes, he told me not to post reviews because, and I quote, "I really hope you can reconsider your posts -- as that hurts my family". I found this very manipulative and borderline cruel, since he spent many emails denying that his agents did anything wrong in dealing with us, and that it was our fault the $10,000+ claim wasn't approved. We were told we couldn't sign up for this specific service when my wife was pregnant, but that we WOULD be signed up when we had our baby. In our postpartum season, during my hospitalization, deaths in the family, and other family tragedies, it got lost in the shuffle on our end; but we were told they would follow up with us and they never did. Our daughter was 6 months old when I was admitted to the hospital. I have heard from reliable sources that this office is a "bulk" office that's one of the nation's "top performers". Unfortunately, this means they do not give the proper care and attention to their customers, and I would never recommend them to anyone.
