We chatted with the owner as he was very friendly and interesting. The ambiance is casual and comfortable. They are licensed to sell alcohol as well as the food and coffee. The establishment is much larger than it looks as there is another section in the back that is not readily apparent when you first walk in. Talk to the owner about motorcycles and you'll make a friend. I'm sure that we'll be back. After all, Tofield is only 45 minutes from Edmonton.

It can get messy because there's more fillings than bun but don't worry because there are three washrooms to wash your sticky fingers. We ordered Bibimbap and a Bulgogi burger. The Bibimbap was good but some sesame oil or additional spices would be of benefit. The veggies were of great quality and the rice was perfectly cooked. The Bulgogi burger was excellent with fresh beef and hand made fries (we ordered even more fries as they were not oily but crispy and delicious). They've also extended their hours a bit so they're open earlier and little later than before, but Phat Tony's is still a breakfast/lunch place. They're not open for dinner. I haven't tried any of the breakfast sandwiches, but I've come here for lunch a couple of times. You can dine in or take your sandwich to do. Their sandwiches are freshly made and massive. They come with a dill pickle wedge, and side (garden salad or coleslaw or potato salad). I always opt for the potato salad. I generally don't like restaurant potato salads (prefer homemade) but I love the potato salad at Phat Tony's. They also usually have a few soups on hand if you want something warm. And there are salads and wraps too. They also usually have some baked goods and squares, but the portions are so large I never have room for dessert. If you leave Phat Tony's hungry you've done it wrong. If you're looking for a sandwich in Leduc definitely give Phat Tony's a go. I'll be back again.

It was okay. The Lefse itself was quite good but the beef wasn't anything special. Still, it's a nice size and seems to be popular. At first I thought it was expensive but then I discovered that each meal includes dessert. With the dessert included the price seems reasonable. It's not a dessert like pie or anything large like that but any baked goods under the front glass counter is included. I had the Lingonberry chocolate puffs and I got two served with cream. The presentation was beautiful and they were delicious. Service was first rate. The young lady was pleasant, cheerful and seemed to genuinely appreciate our business. Coffee came with refills. With a lot of meat on the market being grown with hormones, some of it has been classified as carcinogenic due to scientific study, which is why American meat is banned in Europe. Not only was the food I purchased at this A&W tasty, but after working here for 4 years I know the products they use are safe to eat, and it's a pretty good deal for what you get, considering the size of a teen burger to a Big Mac and the nutritional value with them. This is the only place in town I eat when it comes to burgers; Mcdonalds uses cheap, sugary ingredients, and Wendy's has the greasiest burgers in existence.
