It is rather frustrating. I do understand being too busy, but for example, 4pm on a Saturday is not busy. I know someone who owns multiple subways out of state, and he has shared how his employees hate working Saturdays because they are "So Slow". I just felt the need to share my two cents :)

The whole store felt "cramped". The dim light didn't help…read more But the sandwiches were skimpy. I am used to ordering a 12" Black Forest Ham and cheese. I normally get it on a multigrain roll. I have them add pepper jack cheese and toast the sandwich. The ham slices normally overlap one another on the roll as does the cheese. Not this time. There was a visible gap between ham slices and those cute little cheese triangles - instead of getting a roll full, normally 8 or more triangles, the sandwich had four of those lonely little slices, not even close enough together to yell at each other, much less actually "touch". I never saw such a sparsely populated sandwich in any other subway anywhere. Very disappointing. Makes me remember that sandwich every time I contemplate stopping by one for lunch. As a matter of fact, it was so disappointing, I haven't been back to any Subway since.

If it wasn't for that, I'd probably give 0-1 star. I got two meat. Brisket and ribs and ordered fried okra and macaroni and cheese. Fried okra was good but everything else was no bueno. Meat felt, looked, and tasted like it was left over from a day/days prior. Flavor was pretty nonexistent. My wife got chicken tenders and fries with a side of gravy. It was a kids meal. Hers was the best of all the food. The chicken tenders were good with the gravy. The fries were heavily battered and crispy. My friend got brisket sandwich. She did not like it. Mexican rice as a side and she said it was mid. Lots of food left over on our plates. Here's the thing- I came on a Tuesday afternoon. I'd assume most of their smoking happens Friday-Sunday. I'm sure the food is better on the weekend.
