Most of my former Italian coworkers will agree when I say that you will be served the world best Pizza here. For me Il Genio's pizza is the only reason for taking a trip back to GK. What you should know: First of all: this is not Domino's, Little Cesar's, Olive Garden or whatsoever. Don't get me wrong! I absolutely love American pizza (except for Pizza Hut;))! But, this is an Italian pizza place. Second: This is neither a fancy, romantic restaurant nor some hipster place. Most people order Take Away. The restaurant area is small and, typical Italian, somewhat noisy. But, the stuff is very friendly and hearty.

This was preceded with a glass of Prosecco - bland, but followed with some very well chosen and impressive wines to match each course. The wines stood out as being 'just what you look for' in each particular category, with a particularly outstandingly good US Chardonnay. The food dishes were very inventive and excellent. You can see them being prepared by the two chefs if you get the right table. My only slight down being that they were a little slow arriving though our good company made this no problem on this night. A good place and well worth a detour.
