Wow! I knew that this place must be great because there's 141 reviews already and the place hasn't…read morebeen open for a whole year yet. There's lots of seating. More than most places. There's also an upstairs so I assume that more tables are up there. To start you queue up at the counter and pick your meat and put it bun. Ask the guy to recommend the rest because he's got lots of sauces. Then choose veggies and you're nearly there. We also added a coffee which was way too good for a deli. The sandwiches were delicious. The amount was just right. The bun is not huge so you won't be stuffed with bread. It can get messy because there's more fillings than bun but don't worry because there are three washrooms to wash your sticky fingers. Seriously I haven't enjoyed a new place in Edmonton this much in a long time. As for the location... Well eventually it might be okay. It's fine during the day. I highly recommend Patricia Street.

Staff were friendly and service was good. ~$14 for a sandwich. A little smaller than expected but the options for what you want were amazing. ~$6 for a bowl of soup, which was delicious! I would definitely recommend, it's a cozy space to bring some friends.

I can't believe it's taken me so long being back in Edmonton to go enjoy some delicious Farrow…read morebrunch/lunch options. It's the season for anything apples, so I was happy to find a caramel apple cronut & went for a classic grick middle (as per their website & one of my favs - Fried Egg, Bacon, Rosemary Aioli, Smoked Cheddah, Tomato Jam, Arugula). Sadly with a cane & a reuseable bag, I couldn't take a coffee to go (stair logistics are hard enough) but it's always a great cup when I do have a free hand. Oh, I should mention in case I've never did in previous reviews, neither of these food options are something one wants to eat when trying to look presentable. As it's deliciously messy! There's a few bar seats at this location but it's best to take your food to go. At this particular location (there's 4 locations now!) there's no accessible entrance (nor exit). Kind of baffles my mind on why they didn't build a ramp with the newer set of stairs at the exit door. I even made the comment that it's really too bad they don't use the order window on the side (like they did in the pandemic), for us that need to avoid the challenge of stairs. There's also no railings on the steps, so be sure footed in wet & winter conditions (even if you're not disabled). So as much as I love the food & coffee at Farrow, I have to leave it as it's a place I'm going to only on a randomly decent mobility day for the knees & legs.

Always had the cronut on my Wishlist and happened to be in the area ~11:30AM on a Saturday. Tried…read moreto call and ask if they had any left to not waste my time, but no answer. Also $5 off if you pre-order via website. Website is easy to navigate. I like the bread choices - wish they had a multigrain/one with lots of grit/seeds. Was sad to find out many items were not available - California Club, Broccoli Salad, Wicked Thai soup. All things I wanted to try. In my opinion if you can't offer it you should have a more reasonable menu that reduces disappointment (smaller menu?). I preordered at 2PM for pickup at 5:30PM knowing I would be there 5:15PM so it would be fresh. I arrived 5:20PM and it was all ready for pickup -how early it was made is debatable. As I expected bread was Super soggy and super squished. Salad toppings were already getting soggy. I got the Southwest Crunch salad $9.29 - better than I expected. I like the vinaigrette and I'm not a vinaigrette person. Lettuce was cut into great bite sized pieces and crisp. As mentioned, the Tortilla strips were already getting soggy. I got the The Dilbert on Whole Wheat $12.49 - Great flavor but with the bread being so soggy and flat it was a disappointment. The crust of the bread was really tasty and I wish the whole sandwich was that fluffy and tasty. Filling 10/10 - Bread killed it. I got the Club Press'd on rye $10.79- Same as the other bread super soggy and gross. Filling was fine but cheap with the lettuce - as you can see it was mostly white tasteless and rind. 6/10 for the filling. I also tried the Lean Green smoothie $5.79. Portion was as expected. Tasted great, very fresh and healthy. Overall was super disappointed and RECOMMEND only ordering fresh (not worth the $5 off).

" Average overpriced sandwiches with fries "…read more Jon Smith Subs just opened in the space of the old Mucho Burrito on baseline Rd in Sherwood Park. The signs say " bring your big mouth " and " love local, eat delicious ". Turns out this is a Florida, USA-based small chain, so not much for local. The decor is basic planked woods with vinyl green and grey benches. You can smell a Whiff of grease from the fryers as you open the door. Wait, what? Yes, fryers! They sell French fries and poutine in a sandwich shop lol. First impressions remind me of What Mr Sub, which happens to be located across the street, used to be like 15 years ago. The subs here start at $7.95 for a small and go up to. Around $15 for the 12in. I wanted to try different sandwiches so I started out by ordering a small " triple deli classic " which comes with turkey, ham and roast beef - only to be told it only comes in the large format, really? Ah ok... so let's move on. I ordered a small montreal smoked beef ($7.95) and the small Italian Steak ($7.95) and had the choice of white or whole wheat bread. The sandwiches were extra small and thin - the smoked beef was barely 4 inches in lenght, while the steak was about right at a skinny 6 inches. The bread was small and chewy, nothing special. Definitively, there was not enough meat on the sandwiches and I don't get the branding that says bring a big mouthful, nah! The bun for the Italian steak was flat and arched making the meat look heaping but it was just an ok average portion for this type of froid beef-ish steak-ish meat. The Italian steak sandwich overall tasted very bland, the marinara was a sauce with nothing going for it. As for the steak meat, it appeared to be made of tiny ground/ strip beef-ish shreds of the supermarket precooked variety. The corned beef was shredded, very skimpy instead of it being stacked high and definitely lacked the montreal corned beef heaping full, big mouth sandwiches that come with such an appellation in Montreal. To my surprise they sell fries and poutine on the menu. I made one of the sandwiches a combo with a fountain drink and a small poutine ($5.95). For a minute I figured they might as well sell hot dogs and onion rings.... Ah but I'd rather get those giant hot dogs at the nearby Costco with a drink for $2... ah well... ideas ideas.:/ 15 minutes and $23 later; there was nothing special about this place - bland small and thus overpriced sandwiches, with fries - is my overall impression. Now that I have tried it; I will return to my good old Mr Sub across the street. #Next!

Everything is made fresh and brought out to your table. When we walked in around 12:20 on a wednesday afternoon, I was surprised to see that it was completely empty. We were greeted by a very nice man who took some time to go over a few of the more popular choices on the menu with us when we told him it was our first visit. Total was $29 for 2 combo meals. As mentioned, the sandwiches and fries were made fresh and brought out to us with a smile. I was really quite impressed with the subs - my cajun steak sub was nicely spicy, fresh bread, good flavours. My partner's cuban was very cheesy and tasty as well. The fries were delicious! The dining space is clean and uncluttered. There are a couple of booths and a few tables and it was quite comfortable to sit and eat our lunch. Because of the prices, I won't go often, but I will definitely be back!
