Subway cookies are so good! The worker was super kind and gave me an extra cookie for no extra charge. The customer service is top tier!

She puts out solid fresh burgers with nice spongy sesame buns and crisp lettuce and a fat slice of tomato. The wild salmon burger is a deal at $11.99 and tasty! I was surprised to see she is offering "Seafood service", I think she will prepare the fresh catch you can buy steps away off the boats. I might give it a try and report back.

Hardly any seats inside but plenty of benches outside. Burgers and hot dogs are cooked fresh off the grill. I wouldn't compare this to artisan burgers nor would I use the same standards when reviewing it. It's good enough. It's a street burger or hotdog "stand" comparable to the one's you see along metropolitan city streets in New York or Toronto. People flock to it. Are they connoisseur dogs? Nope. But they are good in their own right. Street food! It tastes good when ur really hungry or when you just came off of a walk or running along the boardwalk or strolling with a friend and wanted to get a bite. As you can see, it's not as sloppy as some big name burger joints I've had before in my reviews. Ahem! Carls Jr and Burger Priest! Veggies are fresh. There's ketchup, mustard and relish. No other bells and whistles. The place is really small but clean. Menu is simple. The cook was pleasant. Plenty of parking along the street for 3 hrs maximum. I'm giving this one less star cuz it's really small and cramped inside if there's more than two customers at a time. Lol!

I finally get to visit Costco & Costco food court. During my 2019 visit, I made a special request…read moreto my family to add Costco to the itinerary but no luck. After seeing an Instagram post the night before , I saw one for Costco food hack , hehe. Good thing now I know just what to order ! We made a quick stop just to grab food for the road, they were super busy on a Sunday! Took awhile to get my order, but understandable . Must Order at the self check out and pretty easy to navigate There's Montreal smoked meat sandwich ( crazy me-never cross my mind to order this) chicken tenders, fries, & of course the poutine which I am curious to try for very first time. During this visit I just found out you can get a Kirkland water when you get the hot dog combo instead of pop. I ordered & did the hack, chicken tenders with fries, side gravy for only .30, side cheese curd $2.99 for nice size package , hot dog combo. Total = 13.84, lower in USD. So cheap! This hack gets you the chicken tenders, hehe. I wanted to try the caramel sundae , but too early in day for desserts but I think that's available in the states . The verdict: I tried first without the gravy & cheese curd, then added them. Either way I enjoyed my very first poutine. I really like the fries & tenders, so good for the price! I got cheese out, since that was too much cheese curd for us. All in all, great first time enjoying poutine & on our road trip back . Love it. I Can't wait to be back & now I can create my own poutine back home when I'm thinking of Canada , hehe. **We were just here exactly one week ago today, such great memories! Happy Sunday!

Oh the helpful fast food of the golden arches, as these places seem to be situated in a perfect place where they know you are going, and like an upstream salmon run, they don't have you trapped, but they know enough of you will be going in here, which I did on this day. Driving along 56th Street, you won't miss this place, you have to drive into this parking if you are attempting to eat in this place, just know there also is a drive through.. where you have to do some odd loops to get to your ordering platform. You come in here, and you know this place has been here a long time from the outside structure, let alone the old McD's layout, where you can see an area that was sectioned off for the kids... wonder if the ball room was there? The tiles look like the original.. like 20 years back.. then you are wowed by the new digital menu that keeps changing, with the big pictures of their fresh (can you call it this) food that entices your hand to reach for your wallet. The day I was here, the place was pretty busy, probably because it was hot outside.. and what other way to handle a hot day than to suck up the a/c of a McD's. Even the 4 staff that looked like they were on break.. did not leave the place and chilled at the communal bar like area. I ate while watching everyone in here, and noticed many people just looking at their phones, eating, not doing much... kinda sounds like every McD's... but hey.. where else you going to get max a/c for minimal $$$... Ordered a wrap, and it satisfied the craving... so if you are in this area... or going toward Point Roberts.. this is the last McD's you will see... if you need this fix, well come on in.
