There could be McDonalds or Burger King right next to it but the bread and specialties are why this place is packed every single time!!! Always a line out the door. This particular morning, we went to the drive thru and there was a lady taking the orders. The special was the Omelet Trio, egg, deli ham, bacon, sausage, and Swiss cheese on Puertorican Sobao bread with 6 oz.café latte (or you can substitute for 25 cents more a 12 oz. juice) , and the newspaper (while supplies last). We also ordered a side of sorullos, fried corn meal (their version of hash browns) and a guava/cheese pastry. Best customer service, courteous, friendly and fast. Ended up ordering the steak sandwich with fries and had a queso pastry as well. Sandwich was good, but not excellent as the first El Meson we stopped at in San Sebastian (perhaps the bread was not as fresh nor the ingredients since it was end of day). In any case, service was great (order at the counter and seat yourself).

The steak is so tender and juicy and savory and elevate the nachos to something I wouldn't be able to make myself at home. I do wish they put more of the pico de gallo on. I also love the açaí bowl but it is pretty similar to other açaí places in PR as it's more solid like ice cream scoops rather than liquidy like continental US açaí bowls. The service was prompt and friendly and there is seating inside. I do wish the lighting was brighter. Depending on where you are sitting, the A/C is blasting from the wall so you may want to bring a light jacket. Getting a set of nachos and an açaí bowl were perfect to split between 2 people for a well balanced breakfast.
