I asked for a sandwich and they made the sandwich, it was tasty and for a good price. would go again

I go to subway pretty infrequently. But this was by far one of the worst experiences. They were out of several items: white bread flatbread, provolone, lettuce, and salami. When you walk in they made it very clear if you ordered something that had any of the ingredients they were out of you would not be able to substitute it and you would be charged full price. They stopped working on sandwiches to tell it to the entire place every time someone walked in. I understand that it's not the workers fault and this is policy that the store manager or owner put in place. It just made for a poor experience for people trying to decide on a new sandwich and trying to see what you could actually order. I will say though the young lady working did tell people that if they told her what they usually got she would recommend a sandwich that they had everything for that was similar. read more

This review is NOT for the Subway on Haven in Rancho Cucamonga, the girl at that Subway actually very nice and understanding and explained things to me...THIS review is for the Subway on 19th/Carnelian, Rancho Cucamonga, which I could not even find on the list...WTF is up with Subway...we go there to get the sandwiches that we want, exactly how we want them...today I go into the Subway at 19th/Carnelian and after waiting 10 minutes am told that if I want a cold cut trio, I have to take it the way they make it...I want it the way I want it, not just how they make it...I asked, since when, she said, oh they just started that, so I said nevermind and walked out...after calling the Subway on Haven I was told that because it was on a special price sandwich list, I could not customize my sandwich...I asked what if I just paid the regular price to get it how I want it and I was told that they didn't even have a way to charge me that way...again WTF is up with Subway...they just lost my business! read more

I have never been treated so poorly!! The "lead" Kaylee was so rude! I returned a stinky 6inch tuna sub because it smelled so bad. She opened it and smelled it and stated it smells fine. She also told me that they were not going to do anything about it. I left the stinky sub on the counter and walked out. I'll never be back. I'm still waiting for a response from subway 3 weeks later. Honestly, I've been coming here for 4 years. Very close to home and convenient. However, the service I received today was unacceptable. The younger girl is very rude and never even pretended to care about customer service. Grouchy look on her face as though she wished she was anywhere else, but there it was terrible and made me feel very uncomfortable almost that I was bothering her as I was telling her what I wanted on my sandwiches I said, light mayo, and she proceeded to squirt the bottle back-and-forth three times not sure how that constitutes light but whatever just goes to show what her attitude was like. Have at least 2 people working behind the counter not only are there customers waiting for their order a long time especially with long lines and mobile orders there is ONE person behind the counter trying to keep up. I had an awesome experience at this Subway thanks to Serenity! She was incredibly friendly, patient, and attentive while making my order. You can tell she really cares about getting everything just right. My sandwich was made perfectly, and her positive attitude genuinely made my day. In the past this facility has been pretty good. Nice staff along with friendly service BUT this time wasn't so good. We ordered a sandwich with olives. In the past, they notified us that they were out of olives & asked if we wanted something in its place. This time nothing. He didn't even tell us there were no olives on the sandwich, found out when we got all the way home. Then he basically didn't say hello or welcome let alone a thank you or have a nice night. All we got was "Pickup?" & then about threw the bag on the counter & quickly rushed back to the back never to be seen again. I know they usually have one person at night but really that is no excuse. Ordered in the application at 5:45pm. App advised order ready at 6:05. Arrived at Subway at 6:20. There were three in line. I waited for her to finish the two customers she was helping, then told her I was there to pick up my order. She said she had been busy (only employee there) and hadn't started the order yet. She then went on to help another customer. If I hadn't already paid online, I would have walked out. I placed my order in 35 min earlier, it should have been filled before other customers that came after my delivery order.. Why did I get a message at 6:05 that my order was done? When I arrived at 6:20 and the order had not even been started yet? Finally, she prepared our order. And of course she didn't make the sandwiches as ordered. They need more employees that, and need to be trained how to fill orders in the order received. Don't eat at this subway.. read more

Out of ingredients nearly all the time. I've had to walk away several times, because every time I order speciality sandwich, they're out of a meat, or a vegetable or , bread or chips. Soda machine has no carbonation, and always one employee with five people in line. This is a sign of the owner being too cheap to keep the resteraunt staffed , and supplied to sell sandwiches. We're sorry California fast food workers get 20$ an hour now, but hey you run a resteraunt and you cut too many corners you're going to end up closing. I don't normally write yelp reviews, but today I can feel confident with my feelings on this location. Never have I seen a Subway ran this awfully. The staff currently are terrible at both customer service and proper subway procedures (only a single male worker is a okay worker), the place is disgusting with it always looking dirty, and most of the time are they out of stock in their ingredients. But what really pushed me the wrong way was how they practically kicked me out because "they had a mobile order to do". I used to work at subway, and I was told that you always help the customer physically there before you do any mobile order. A new low, even for Subway! Arrived at 2:30 on a Saturday afternoon. ONE employee! She was very nice but obviously new. One of the items we ordered she had never heard of (a salad) and the other she "had never made before". I was shocked that four of the items we ordered they were out of. Saturday afternoon and they were out of roast beef, two kinds of bread, and the sauce we wanted. I find that unacceptable. It got worse. After making one sandwich and one salad, it came time to pay. Fortunately, I checked my receipt before leaving. I was overcharged almost $15. You guessed it! The sole employee had no idea how to complete a refund. It took 20 minutes and several phone calls to manager(s) to get my money back. This is absolutely the fault of supervision. It is an unnecessary risk to have one lone employee working by themself. That it as invitation for robbery. At the very least, if you're working alone, you should know how to do everything. Avoid this Subway location! read more

This is consistently one of the worst subway restaurants ever always out of everything always they are minutes from my house so I keep trying them with no luck. For example yesterday I went in around 5:45 pm they were out of Tuna,Ham,Turkey and only had 1 loaf of Italian or white bread left. Sometimes things happen I get it but this happens at this location on a regular basis. Subway advertise that they offer senior discount. When I asked for it the kid working the counter just grinned at me and replied nope. I noticed that this location is no longer open 24hrs (see photo posted for new hours) - change of owners or management perhaps? I was dropping off packages at the UPS when I saw a poster for sliders. I wasn't very hungry but decided to try it out since it is only $1.89ea (that's how they get you right?). The slider was tiny - a bit smaller than I thought - but what do you expect for $1.89 right? I ordered the "Little Cheesesteak" slider and it was great - no complaints. The sandwich artist did a great job as well as the cashier. A young girl named Taylor made my sandwiches Thursday and she did awesome! She knew how to handle the line correctly and she was the kindest soul. I tipped her and normally i don't tip but that was the best customer service i've seen in quite some time. She also made some great sandwiches in a timely manner and kept up great conversation. Shout out to the subway employee Hamza. He held down the floor being the ONLY employee during a carzy rush hour. He kept a calm demeanor and made quality sandwiches for each person who came through the door. When I asked him why he was alone, he stated that the other employee scheduled tobwork this shift had not showed up yet. I do hope that this other employee is safe. I have had good experiences here before, this one was horrible. The two young men working were complaining about a coworker who left at 4:00 (instead of her scheduled 5:00 leave time). They were talking about how they were going to get her fired and insulting her. I get being peeved about that, but in front of customers? One or two hushed comments would have been fine... but this was part of the time I was waiting in line and the entire time they were "making" my sandwiches. The gentleman who had been there (the other started late at 5:10) kept saying how exhausted he is and how he wants a break. Again, I get communicating that to your coworker, but the way he went on about it made it seem like he resented my presence. I asked for extra tomato on my sandwiches. He put what looked to me like an average amount of tomato, and so I nicely said "could i please have some more tomato?" "How much more you want?" "About double that." "Well that is going to be triple, because I already put double." Talk about making me feel bad because I wanted some more tomato... At the end I asked for oregano. Apparently the shake lid was not working because he took it off and just dumped the oregano into my sandwiches (one sandwich didn't get it so bad, the other was a foot long of oregano with some sandwich). When I unwrapped my foot long sandwiches at home, I realized he did not even bother to cut them in half! I just walked out of this subway restaurant at 9:15 in the morning on a Saturday. Walked in and asked for two bacon egg and cheese flatbread. She was thawing out the eggs in the microwave told me that the machine for toasting the flatbreads had not been started and it would take 20 to 30 minutes to warm up. So we started making the sandwiches cold while she thought out the eggs. I told her I was in no hurry she could take her time. After a while it looks like the machine was starting to get warm so I asked her if we could Use the convection toaster and just use them a little longer than usual. So she takes the eggs which are thawing out in the microwave and put them on a tray in the convection oven. I told her I was referring to the flatbread with the cold bacon in the oven melted cheese. She then says oh that's a good idea. I said how about A cup of coffee while I'm waiting? She says oh sorry I don't know how to make that and it's gonna be cold. At this point I left. If she is in capable of opening the store in the morning by herself she shouldn't be doing it. I was willing to eat a cold flatbread sandwich but I drew the line at cold coffee. read more

I am a regular here, sometime late hours in the night and I am tired. But every time I come there I get great service. I always look for Blade or Ryan or Rob, they always get my order right! Blade made me the best Roast Beef sandwich on Italian bread, with provolone cheese, shredded lettuce, onion, oregano, tomatoes, mayo, and olive oil and vinegar!!! Literally tastes like Jersey mikes if not better!! If I could give more than 5 stars I would, Blade and the guys there have seriously made me a regular there and it's 24 hours so it's awesome. Getting my favorite sandwich from my favorite subway! Daniela is the best! She Always makes our visits there a great time and she makes the best sandwiches too!! The one thing I need with my hours is a healthy place to eat late at nite. The vibe here is friendly and the service is always top notch! The only negative is that is not close to my home but at least it is on the way there. I wish the half and half lemonade and iced tea was not discontinuing but oh well, the sandwiches that Daniela makes and the friendly vibe Dominic brings as a team is amazing. Some places are good but they make u feel like family! I give them a two thumbs up for customer service! If there was any thing disappointing about the place it has to be the chairs and tables outside.
