Julio warmly greeted us and while we were trying to decide what to get, he brought us some complimentary De Fideo soup (we had never had it) and it was delicious. You walk in and either order take-out or eat in the modest seating area that can maybe seat 15-20. They have salads, sandwiches, and even a few pasta dishes as well as some specialty teas. I ordered the Southwestern salad and was pretty happy with both the portion size and quality of ingredients. I only wish the avocado was portioned more generously - I had maybe a teaspoon's worth but as I paid for my meal, I saw the Southwestern salad pictured on the wall with a few beautiful bright green slices of avocado. This is a great place to get a good selection of salads, prepared fresh. Hooray for healthy choices in the Rio Grande Valley!

People don't mind paying for food, but seriously make it worth the price you charge. The sourdough bread they serve is NOT sourdough - AWFUL. The fajitas are okay, but again, the portion is ridiculously SMALL. The chips are SOGGY, even after asking for more and mentioning the problem, we got more of the same. The ONLY THING that was good, was the lemonade. The wait for everything is LONG. The wait would have been okay IF the food would have been worth the wait, but sadly, IT WAS NOT.
