The most popular sandwiches are prepared before lunch and packaged up ready to buy... if you don't see one you like or have particular requirements, the friendly staff have no problems making one up to order. They also offer jacket potatoes, soup, salads, Indian snacks, crisps, hot and cold drinks and my favourite, a range of homebaked cakes and flapjacks. I can honestly say, that in 19 years I have not had a bad sandwich from The Lunch Box.

This Subway is also not always open as late as other take-aways in the area. This place is handy for grabbing a quick Sub if you're out shopping or having a break from work as there's usually not much of a queue. Being a smaller place they also seem to have less of a selection of Sub fillings.
