There were an incredible amount of options for sandwiches, breads, and sauces to customize your meal. Seriously, a crazy amount of options! There were also many salad options and yummy desserts. I chose a chef salad, which was a perfect mixture of all ingredients. Not your typical salad, which is usually mostly lettuce. I also had cheese curds, which were homemade. So delicious! My husband had a bowl of chicken enchilada soup, which was very hearty. He also had a sub that was piled high with ingredients and sauce. Both of our meals came with half loaves of garlic bread. So yummy! The two fellas working both had a chill vibe and were perfect for the relaxed atmosphere for our lunch. Can't wait to come back! And next time we will get the cheesecake! Our experience was beyond our expectations!

We were greeted by a young gal who was so kind and generously shared the coupons that were currently available for their restaurant. Her customers service was A++. We ended up just splitting our meal which was a good idea because the meal was enormous. We still had to get a to go box to take our leftovers. While we were there waiting for our food, the owner came out to greet us. He was awesome, he shared some of his travel stories with us and then he brought us over some of their chicken strips (which we had to take home with us. We were so full). We tried him once we got home and they were once again amazing just like everything else that we had for dinner that night. This place is a must try restaurant and if we lived locally, we'd probably be there weekly.. Good luck Hippo's We wish you all the success in the world. You guys are amazing. I checked out The Corner Bar & Grill last night after seeing some good online reviews, and overall…read moreit was a solid experience with a cozy neighborhood feel. The space is smaller but very welcoming and definitely feels like a local hangout spot. When you walk in, the specials board is front and center, including their Burger of the Month, which is what I ordered. Mine featured goat cheese, spinach, strawberry compote, and jalapeños. The flavor combination was unique and really worked well together, and the burger itself was juicy. Personally, I would have loved a bit more char for those crispy edges, but the flavors were definitely there. It came with rosemary fries that were thin, crispy, and generously seasoned. I added a side of hot honey for dipping, which ended up being an unexpectedly amazing combo. The restaurant has a great beer selection, plenty of TVs for sports, fun retro-style décor, and soft lighting that creates a relaxed atmosphere. Even at 9 PM, there were families with kids dining, so it feels very family-friendly rather than a late-night bar scene. Noise levels were low enough that conversation was easy, which I really appreciated. Bathrooms were also exceptionally clean. My main hesitation was pricing. A quesadilla was around $15 and my burger was $20, which pushed dinner for one person with a drink and tip to about $35. While that seems comparable to nearby spots like Boston's, it felt a bit high for casual bar-style dining. Parking is limited, but the location is convenient, just minutes from I-75 and surrounded by other restaurants. Service was amazing. We were sad immediately and she checked back often and said what her favorite thing on the menu was. Overall, good food, creative menu options, and a comfortable atmosphere. With a little refinement and maybe slightly better value, this could easily become a regular stop.
