I have to wait longer than if I order it through drive thru. And after I order from the counter, my food sits in the kitchen until someone is available to hand them to the customer. BTW, I go to McDonald's 3 times a week. But this one in Glastonbury is always disappointing when I order on the counter. I also had an incident where half of the fries fell out of the package during handling. A very recent incident where I ordered 6 sundae cone and 1 of them turned LIQUID after 3 minutes, the rest were still "ice creamy " but this one.
