I, personally, was visiting my friend's hometown and her family treated our group to dinner. We were in the back dining area, which I can assume is reserved for private events, and had the entire room. We enjoyed a multi-course dinner: starting with salads with choice of dressing; pasta al pomodoro - made with basil from their side garden; pasta milanese; eggplant, steak, potatoes and asparagus ...and dessert. Yes, all that food. And wine. Food was outstanding, Service was good. And we even got a visit from Joe himself. Highly rec and wish this biz another 30+ years of success.

My favorite thing so far is the Philly chicken sandwich (think like Philly cheesesteak but with chicken instead). It's wonderful. I've found the service to be good as well. It doesn't take too long to get food, and the employees have always been helpful. They also were willing to load my sandwich down with a ton of toppings when asked. There are plenty of good sandwich places in Galesburg, but even in a relatively crowded market Lenny's stands out as one of the great ones.
