You can get a hotdog at a couple of other places in Galesburg, but no drive-thrus to my knowledge. Culver's down the street serves a corndog/and has a drive-thru. So Freddy's hotdog was worth the chance. And it's served on a nice toasted bun, looks a little bit like a pita bread taco. They'll also make it any way you want. I ordered it with American cheese instead of their shredded cheese. I wanted their cheese fries but the only warm cheese sauce they have is jalapeño cheese.........no warm cheddar cheese. So I tried the tater tots which were good but kind of on the spicy side, and I prefer a much more traditional buttery tater tot. Spiced and specialty batter seems to be a theme with Freddy's. A little goes a long way for me tho in that spice department, so I'm not the most appreciative of it. Very nice people working there and the price was affordable. I will probably try some other things in the future and also look into their sweet concoctions, frozen custard.
