This coffee shop replaced another one in the same location. The staff seem a bit inexperienced but they're catching on fast. It's about as close to an inner suburb cafe as you're going to find this far out of the city. Their eggs benedict wasn't great on the first visit we made here but they were apparently having trouble with the newly installed stove. No qualms about going back for another one though! read more

People say living in the burbs is cheap..... well $5.50 for a coffee is not cheap! I waited 20 mins to be served & then a further 15 mins to actually get my coffee. Desperate times call for desperate measures & that is the only reason I was willing to wait ( I also attempted to cancel my order but they insisted they were making it as we spoke.....) This is the only cafe in the complex which would have to be the only reason people go there. My coffee was ok but not $5.50 worth of ok that's for sure. The staff were quite rude & there was about 6 of them behind the counter, this is a classic case of many hands not always meaning fast work. I can't comment on the food as I didn't eat nor do I ever plan to, who has that much time to wait seriously? read more

Good place to have breakfast in and around the Cranbourne/Lynbrook area. Located in a small shopping centre with parking easy to get. Prices were what you expect for CBD not these suburbs. Having said that, can't complain about the quality of the food or coffee during my visit. Staff were friendly and service was quick. read more

Overpriced food and inconsistency in service - the staff appears to have different opinions on different things most of the time. I would get a steamed soy milk for $3.5 and then get charged $6 for the same drink by a different staff. For God's sake...who charges $6 for a cup of steamed milk?! One staff told me that you can get the coffee card stamped too if you get a milkshake but another staff refused to stamp my card when I bought a milkshake today, claiming that the other staff was wrong. read more

Suburban Grind is one of the best things to happen to Lynbrook. The owners, Ana & Andy, and staff are awesome. It's rare that I don't stop in here for my morning coffee, or brunch, or lunch, or, well, you get the point. There are a lot of other regulars too, so I'm not the only one who thinks this. It should be noted that the kitchen area isn't the largest, so when they are busy, it can take a little while for food. Just be prepared for that. The food is good though. read more

This was our first visit. Quite a nice little cafe and enough space to put my elderly mother in laws walker without being in the way of staff and customers which is a bonus. On walking in my first impressions were how very clean it was. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. I had a Pumpkin and Feta Turkish roll which was quite nice. My husband said his sausage roll was very nice as well and the coffee tasted really good. All there produce is sourced locally which is also a plus. Rude service. Coffee was ehhh. Really wanted to enjoy this place but just wasn't up to the morning commute and dine in customers.

Good food, have been here a few times now for breakfast and have enjoyed it each time. The coffee can be a bit hit and miss with the taste and temperature, but overall i have no problem recommending them to others. read more

Waited 45 minutes to be given food that was freezing cold and missing half out order. Staff too busy chatting out the back.
