I went from my past dentist, who I will keep unknown to you, to Evergreen Dental. Evergreen dental have phenomenal dentists and hygienists. They won't gouge your pockets, or neglect something that shouldn't be neglected. They are honest, trustworthy, funny, and they truly care about their clients. I've changed dentists a year ago and switched to Evergreen, I can tell you now, a year later, I made the right choice. Very nice atmosphere, TVs overhead and headphones. Not sure about the remote, can't remember that part lol. I wish you all the best at your visit or search for a new dentist and recommend Evergreen Dental as a 5 star dentist office.

She said the dentist was finishing up the current patient and should be done soon. At 12:00 PM, there was a shift change, and there is a new receptionist. At 12:20 PM, we asked the same question and asked why it took too long. She told me that my appointment was actually at 12:00 PM. We told her we confirmed with the first receptionist that our appointment is at 11:30 AM. She tried to say something that she thought my child might need to do some preparation before meeting the dentist. If they told us there are some unexpected events with the current patient, we would be ok to wait for a few minutes more. When we stood up and left, she did not say even a sorry word. My son did not have any food to prepare for this appointment since the morning and has to wait for 1 hour.

The dental assistants are excellent and very friendly. I find them all a breath of fresh air. Good sense of humour too. A new dentist, a woman, told me it was time for a crown on one of my molars. She did such a terrible job, she created a large gap between my teeth...a food trap. I was having discomfort from day one, I even delayed paying them because my tooth was causing me pain. I found a new dentist that helped filled the gap, treated me with respect. This new dentist has now advised me that decay is now to the bone. I now have to have a very expensive procedure that involves an implant. I am saddened and frustrated...I will be contacting the appropriate governing body to let them know the damage that Dr. Karma has done to my mouth. Tammy Cook

That is until I called up after a long tooth hiatus to make an appointment. I looked for my old dental practice, which seems to have been bought out by Robie St. Dental. New dentist? Doesn't bother me. Like I said before, need dentist, go to dentist. Anyways, I made an appointment and went. The staff are some of the friendliest people you ever want to meet! They have coffee while you wait, which I thought was weird.. coffee breath? Not really something I want right before someone digging in my mouth, but it's a nice touch. The Hygienist is nice and knows her stuff. As for my dentist? She could be my best friend. She is amazing. So friendly and genuine in her interactions with you. She also worked with me and my dental plan so that she didn't go over. She explained what was going on with my teeth, showed me photos (which I thought was cool) during the process of filling a tooth. Gross and awesome all at the same time. She's constantly checking in while working on your teeth to make sure you're doing okay and diligent with keeping your airways clear! If you get fillings and have to wear "the raincoat" you know what I'm talking about. Her dental assistant is also a sweet heart. They are an awesome team, the whole lot of them. I can't lie, I thought the building was pretty sketchy on the outside but I would 100% recommend anyone who needs a dentist going here. The inside is lovely and I've only had fantastic experiences and results here.

Anyway, I called the office and it was about 10AM here so about 1PM there I suppose; and the phone continued to ring and ring. I hung up, and later tried again. This time I let it ring for quite a while thinking perhaps an answering machine would kick in. Instead, the reception picked up the phone and without hearing a word from me, asked me to hold. No problem I said. So; I continued to wait for about 5 minutes, then suddenly the phone slammed down on my ear. I then called back and asked the receptionist why the phone was slammed down, and she said that she was busy. OKAY.....I said. I went on to mention the nature of my call, and she assured me that she would relay the message. I waited 3 days and no return of the message. I also sent emails. Still nothing. Sent them back an email in return stating that I"m glad I"m not a patient of theirs . That they can keep that type of practice is Dartmouth Nova Scotia where it belongs! Not nice people in my opinion.

I recently switched to this dental clinic after reading the reviews on Yelp and I was not…read moredisappointed! Everyone who works here it friendly and thoughtful. I got a check up with Dr. Lucy and then returned for a cleaning with the hygienist. When you enter through the double doors you'll find the waiting area and the reception desk with the three admins. There's a tv in one section of the waiting room and one in each of the rooms that I've been in for work. They took special care to find out if I was comfortable or had any anxiety about visiting the dentist. There is lots of free parking given that it's located in a large strip mall and it's across the street from the Dartmouth bus terminal for those taking transit. If you're looking for a new dental clinic, I definitely recommend this one. To note though, you'll need to go in for a special new patient appointment before they'll do any work on your teeth, so don't wait for a cavity!
