She told me about a time she'd gotten her hair done with disastrous results and had a hard time finding a salon to help her fix it, after which she vowed never to do the same thing to her customers. She was lovely and warm, and the lash extensions she gave me looked excellent, even though I didn't have much to work with. We are in town visiting family for Thanksgiving . I am no stranger to massage but i have never had a spa bath or a facial before. The spa house is quaint and antique. I absolutely loved the feel and ambience of it. I arrived a few minutes early, used the lady's room and almost as soon as i sat down in the waiting area, i was greeted and told that my bath was ready. I was taken into a dimly lit room where i had a nice warm bath of mineral water waiting for me. There was a robe, a towel, and a hand towel, along with a little chocolate and ice cold water. I was educated on the detoxification properties of the mineral bath and advised to drink a good amount of water. After my 30 minute soak, a gentle knock on the door was my friendly reminder that it was time for my massage. I dried off and slipped into my robe and the slippers they provided. The sweet lady helped me carry my clothes to the massage room. Next, my wonderful massage therapist came into the room. We went over the basics then she stepped out while i got myself into position on the table. I've had Swedish massage and therapeutic, deep tissue & sports massage. My knotted up body was ready for whatever she was willing to throw at me, and she delivered!!!! It was the perfect balance between Swedish and deep tissue. Just the right amount of pressure with relaxing massage. Next came my first ever facial! You know that moment after a massage where you are feeling like a bowl of pudding and you really don't want to get up? A facial is PERFECT for this! I still got to relax and get a nice facial massage while my body woke up. After, my face was soft and absolutely glowing! If you're in the area, i highly recommend The Medbery Day Spa!

I have never been so pleased with a massage!!…read more I am by no means a massage snob, but I do work on my feet a lot being in the service industry and working with a residential painting company 40+ hours a week. I also suffer from severe migraines and sciatica. Every masseuse I have been to always asks where I want extra attention but I've never had anyone deliver like Erin! She has a lot of knowledge in the area and has taken extra courses to provide AMAZING relief for people who suffer from pain like myself. She not only focused on problematic areas through massage, but she also helped me with stretching. Erin is super friendly and spectacular at her job.
