Walked in, it wasn't packed, and I appreciated that -- you could tell they were actually focused on their clients and not just rushing through back to back. They offered me something to drink while I waited and the green tea with lavender was really good!! Mark was my stylist -- he was professional, friendly, and easy to talk to. He gave me a great haircut and one of the best blowouts I've ever had. And I mean that. I have very long, thick, wavy textured hair and a blowout alone never cuts it for me. I always have to follow up with a flat iron. That's a big deal for my hair type. I left with my hair looking amazing and didn't need to touch it. Also the products made my hair smell amazing! I was charged extra for longer hair but I expected it and the price was fair. Most importantly, I felt extremely relaxed and comfortable the whole time. At no point before our appointment or during the consultation was pricing ever discussed. I will take partial responsibility for not asking, but like I said, I am used to paying fairly high prices for my service. When we were almost done with my move up, I finally asked about their pricing and was very shocked To hear that they charge $200 per row to move up extensions. I have been wearing extensions for close to four years and never have I paid prices even close to that. I ended up being charged $400 for a service that took less than two hours to complete. I feel like this salon should have been more transparent with their pricing upfront, especially offering luxury services like they do. The service quality was average and most of the appointment was silent and a little awkward. When she was finished with my move up I wasn't even offered to have my hair styled/ curled Which was a little shocking since that is normally included with a service like this (Especially at this price point).
