I didn't have pictures nothing and she gave me a really good haircut. Really took a lot of hair off and she also colored it. I was happy with the color. It's a beautiful salon. There are not a lot of great looking salons in the desert but she just opened after this remodel and it is really gorgeous. It's in Palm Desert kind of in the middle of everything so it's a good location. It was a lot more expensive than I usually spend for my hair, but I was happy with the result. Hair Cut was $120 but she took a lot of hair off and next time she said it would be $50 and more of a trim. The single process color for my roots was $120, plus $100 for a shine product to cover my ends so the total with tip was $362. Expensive yes! Will I return, definitely! Gotta look good ha.

Chloe saved my hair!…read more I am in my late 20s and had just moved to the area from San Diego. I had the most expensive and terrible haircut at J. Russell...uneven layers...90s style...I felt so embarrassed when I had my hair down. I found Chloe on yelp and went to her a week later. She stayed after closing hours and spent an hour fixing my hair. I am so happy with the result. If you want someone who truly cares about their work and is a perfectionist, Chloe is your girl. Not only did my hair turn out perfect, she was so nice to talk to and gave me lots of recommendations for local restaurants etc. and so far, they have been amazing. From the moment I walked in, everyone was so welcoming and friendly that my first visit honestly didn't feel like a first visit at all. There are so many talented stylists here, and every client I saw leaving had beautiful color, cuts, and styles. Coming from a family of hairstylists, I can be pretty picky about my hair, so that says a lot! I absolutely loved my hair and booked my next appointment right away. Shanyce is incredibly talented, kind, and truly dedicated to making sure you leave with hair you love and feel good in. I already can't wait to go back!

Madison- a new addition to the salon- was phenomenal. I'm a 62-yr-young woman with an incredibly thick head of hair who wears a stacked bob. I'm also fighting going gray - I'm not ready for it yet. Madi was amazing. She's a true artist (and a bit of a perfectionist which I don't mind at all). A great bob requires patience and precision. She had both! Fabulous color that should allow my grays to blend a bit. Madi even dyed my eyebrows - made a huge difference. Go see Madi and the crew at Roots & Mane. An absolutely positive experience. I honestly wish I had never gone here. This has been one of the worst experiences I've ever had…read morewith a salon. Don't go to Nancy From the moment I left, it was obvious they did not know how to properly do my hair. Instead of leaving with healthy, beautiful hair, I left with hair that was severely damaged. My hair has been completely fried from the processing, the color is uneven and discolored, and now my hair is breaking off and falling out in chunks. I trusted them with my hair, and instead they left it in the worst condition it's ever been in. On top of the damage, I was still charged a significant amount of money for a service that completely ruined my hair. As if that wasn't bad enough, they also charged my credit card twice. When I reached out to get the duplicate charge corrected and asked for a refund after the damage they caused, they were unwilling to make things right. A reputable business stands behind its work and takes responsibility when something goes wrong. Instead, I felt ignored and taken advantage of. Not only am I now spending time and money trying to repair the damage they caused, but I'm also dealing with the frustration of being overcharged and not being refunded. The emotional toll has honestly been just as bad as the financial one. Watching your hair fall out after trusting professionals is heartbreaking. Hair takes years to grow, and this isn't something that can be fixed overnight. I would strongly encourage anyone considering this salon to think twice. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend them. I left with damaged, discolored hair, was charged twice, and received no meaningful effort to correct the situation. I expected professionalism, honesty, and quality work, but unfortunately I experienced the exact opposite.

The color style I want isn't the easiest to achieve, but she made my vision a reality -- perfectly. I absolutely love the result. I've already gotten so many compliments, but what means the most is how spot-on she was in bringing my idea to life. She's highly skilled at cuts and color, detail-oriented, and genuinely listens, which makes the whole experience feel exceptionally personalized and special. And I have to mention the shampoo... the head massage will take you to heaven and back. I get so disappointed when stylists blow mindlessly through this part with the same massage they do on everyone. It's like she knows where my worries and headches live and she eases them away with hands-on intuition. Truly the best. The Salon is stylish and holds a record shop within with an enviable collection of albums to peruse while your hair is processing. If you're looking for someone who can take your inspiration and execute it flawlessly, Christina is the one. I'm so grateful I found her -- and I'm excited for my next visit!
