The best part is you can actually make an appointment. It hasn't been open long but I hope it stays open for a long time to come.

Just recently made my second visit to this Justin's location. My wife and I brought our 16 month…read moreold son in for his second hair cut. His first haircut also being at this location. The barber Marcos was clearly irritated on our first visit and I being a reasonable person understand cutting an infants hair can be a task. I held my son and worked with Marcos for the whole 5 minutes it took.. paid and made it a point to walk up to him and hand him a $20 cash tip as an appreciation gesture. Our recent visit on this Friday 10/16 we walked in for our appointment and the gentleman that checked us in turned around and told Marcos we were there for our appointment. Marcos saw us and realized it was an infants cut verbally said "I have the kids haircut?" and proceeded to mumble under his breathe "f**K". After seeing this we left without getting the haircut and will never be back. In our first visit he mentioned he was a father also so knowing this information I wonder how he would feel roles reversed.

Old school pompadour Neck shave with a straight razor…read moreFrank does it by hand I can't tell you how many bad haircuts I've gotten in my life at those "super" kind of places. Sooo many hacks out there shake their heads yes when you tell them to just "clean it up" , then they proceed to practically shave your head! Well not at the Pennington Barber! Spend the extra $5 and get a real haircut guys. I'm talking comb and long scissors, hot shaving cream and straight razor for the neck. The kind of place you see in the movies where guys can talk shop and leave looking sharp as a tack. I'm growing my hair out for a snazzy pompadour and Frank got giddy at the chance to perform this rare, but beloved, of cuts. I would have had the new hotness a lot sooner if I hadn't gone to that other place many weeks ago where "Darlene" said she knew what she was doing then cut my hair like an Iowa corn farmer. Avoid the baseball cap and get a real cut. Go see Frank and tell him I sent ya.

Highly highly recommend!!…read more Been there about a dozen times and I absolutely LOVE this place. Hot towel shaves are ON POINT and while Vin is my barber, Pete the owner is a hell of a barber and it's easy to see his standards are shared and upheld by his staff. You walk in and you're greeted by vintage barbershop decor, which I dig a lot and no matter what they all stop to say hello and they're always quick to ask if you need a bottle of water or an espresso. I can say pretty confidently that you probably didn't get Fuji or espresso back in the 30's & '40s lol so I'd call it an old school feel with a modern spin. It's not trying to be something it isn't and it's a great addition to our community. Highly highly recommend!!
