The food is good as well, small selection brut yummy things. Service is always good c staff super nice. They have cute shirts and sweaters with their logo. Our favorite drink is the Firestarter coffee which has a little bit of honey and cayenne pepper. It's our go to usually. They have an espresso Negroni on their menu but in all the times I've been here they have never had the ingredients to make it. The brat kolache I had today was good, a little sweet from the bread, with a nice cheesy inside. Easy to eat.

There are coffee specials that change monthly--and don't be afraid to ask for the skinny version! The staff are well-trained and they act like they care about the drinks they serve. (And they'll even create something "off menu" if you ask.) Bakery items change on a regular basis and options include gluten-free. The gelato is outstanding. And, again, the serving containers are spotlessly clean. I haven't tried the sandwiches, but that's just another reason to go back. Sometimes there is a short wait on the coffee, but that's because it's NOT a fast-food place and they take their time to make a great cup. Parking sometimes is tight in the lot behind the building, but there is street parking available if it's a busy morning. There's Wi-Fi and a cute fireplace that's cozy in the winter. It's a great place to stop after Christmas shopping or a hike in the Kettle Moraine. I will be back! :-)

They did a good job making my London Fog Latte (little lavender, little vanilla, and extra foam). There was not a lot of fresh bakery items to choose from. I wanted something more like a scone, but all they had was a cinnamon roll. They heated it up, and it pretty good. We would come back. ps - there is a large world map towards the rear of the shop. It was floral, sweet and had the perfect tartness from the blackberry and espresso combo. The Chai was one of the best I've had, super smooth, flavorful and a good amount of foam. I brought my little one and was pleasantly surprised to see books and crayons, coloring pencils, art supplies he could distract himself with. The right atmosphere is here to sit alone to contemplate or read, or to chat with a friend or play a game of chess but ceramic espresso cups and saucers are a basic requirement. I'd like to see a couple more fruit flavor sorbets which do go well with espresso. Only disposable containers is not very classy, and the plastic isn't healthy for humans or the planet.

Also tried the European bkfst sandwich- and they loved that as well. The baguette was crunchy and enjoyable. So friendly- we had a large group and they put tables together for us and came to the table to take the order so we didn't have to stand in line to order. It was a good drink, with a good balance of coffee and chocolate. It was hot enough, and the foam was decent. I've learned a bit about frothing milk to the right texture for a latte. My understanding--which I still need to fact-check--is that properly textured milk allows you to create decent latte art. The absence of latte art could mean the milk wasn't textured quite right, or simply that the barista chose not to add it. The foam on this particular mocha wasn't quite right for my taste. It was a bit thin, and there was no latte art.
