I've had two office visits already, and have to say, the individuals at the front desk are super kind! The wait was simple and easy. They show deep care towards patients, and the lady who first walks in to record everything is super sweet. She's a pro at administering needles, didn't even feel a thing. From what I've seen at this location, they offer general primary care, and dermatology. Not sure why there have been so many negative reviews, but from my previous visits, it's been an enjoyable experience. My doctor moved here so I followed like an idiot even tho it was further but he's been my Dr for years. But now he's constantly of vacation and there's no communication between the desk to the doctors because EVERY TIME I call for my scripts he's not getting the messages or they're not telling him. Who knows the truth but it's unacceptable that I'm going without my medicine. I have been a patient of this practice for over forty years. I have seen a major decline in patient care and overall quality of service over the last two years. I went from having a primary doctor that I could trust to a nurse practitioner who at our first visit, never examined me. She sat behind her computer and proceeded to refer me to three specialists. My symptoms have left me miserable and the referrals are booking out four + months. What am I supposed to do until then? Also, if you're in need of an appointment, be prepared to wait on the phone for a minimum of fifteen to twenty minutes. You're not going to get an appointment right away though unless you are presenting a serious medical condition. The office manager has not returned my call in days. The practice has gotten two big for its britches. Too many patients and not enough doctors. When I requested a primary physician because mine retired, I was told that they assigned me a nurse practitioner as my new primary. Unacceptable! As a patient for 40 years and excellent, and very expensive insurance, and many medical issues, I feel like I should have a physician. It's discouraging to feel like just another cow in the heard of cattle mentality. I'm currently looking for another practice that values responsive patient care, and overall experience. read more

This is also a primary care physician building as well, and I would HIGHLY recommend you do yourself a favor and find another office not even associated with Sturdy-as Sturdy doesn't seem to care either. The first issue I had was making an initial appointment for a physical with a doctor there. Their reception leaves so much to be desired. They ask for your address, phone, and insurance (normal stuff) - and they even text the cell you give them to confirm your appointment. I leave work to get there, only to be told that the doctor didn't feel well and "just went home." I was upset bc why not call me BEFORE I show up? They charge you if you don't give notice. But we don't get the same respect. They said they did - even repeated my number, they never called. What they do is lie to cover themselves. I should have just never went back - but that same doctor wasn't going to be available for weeks so I was given Melissa Desrosiers who was a nurse practitioner acting as a PCP. She was wonderful. Problem there was - I was in urgent care months later - they told me I needed to see her, and when I went upstairs to see her, reception told me that she was gone. I said, "she left on her own?" They replied, "yep she just up and left with no warning." Receptionist sounded disgusted about that so I can probably figure out why that nurse left - she knew, I'm sure imo, how this place is run. I did ask why no letters or phone calls were sent out or done? They said they were told in order to cut costs - only people that had upcoming appointments were called. Other than that, they didn't call anyone else that was seeing her nor send out a letter. So I'm sure there's patients that still don't know she's left. Until they call for an appointment. They told me a Pam DiFiore NP was filling in and taking her place. When you meet her - she is nice. However whoever works for her and relays messages (bc I suppose Pam thinks she's too good for calling one back) is as condescending as they come. I have a specialist who desired to speak to a MD in regards to a medication he wanted me on. I knew she would be against it, she already told me, but that wasn't the issue, because my dr who is a specialist told me to seek out a MD there. I had relayed this to their front end receptionist. She asked if I would like Pam to reconsider the med? I said no. I already met with her, my other doctor wants to speak to a MD. I get a call later that day from an assistant?? for Pam bc she never identifies herself - who relayed to me what Pam DiFiore said. I said to her - why would the receptionist give Pam the message when she's not a MD and I didn't want the message to go to her? I then explained the situation to "Pam's mouthpiece." And the next morning was met with the same nonsense, "so I spoke to Pam... and she said no MDs will be able to give you this med." My specialist says she's probably lying because he doesn't understand how a nurse practitioner can speak for all MDs in that office - and we both think (in our opinions) that she got insulted that he wanted me to find a MD there because he wasn't comfortable me seeing just a NP. So whomever Pam DiFiore's mouthpiece is was telling me to call my insurance and find a doctor and acting as if I've not already done so. When you attempt to tell her that, she cuts you off at every turn - and the attitude is insane-so I hung up on the lady. I found a doctor in Franklin who is working with my specialist - new primary who has her MD. She had zero issues speaking with him and doing what he asked. If you want continuous issues and wasting your time - this is your place. Don't give them the benefit of the doubt as I did on two occasions bc they are just a horrible place imo. I came here for my very first pregnancy, it was conveniently located near my home and I am new to the area so I didn't have a regular doctor to visit. Things started out OK, but their ability to have compassion for their patients and follow up is severely lacking. Unfortunately, I lost my baby. The doctor scheduled me for a procedure two days later. I called the next day and told them that I had bleeding, and they couldn't even piece together that I was the person they had saw the day before. This made me feel unimportant as a patient and like I was just another number. The entire situation was physically and emotionally traumatic. When I went in for the procedure, the doctor didn't even come and see me after it was done. I also never received a follow-up call to see how I was doing. This is really disturbing to me. As a patient, I don't think it's too much to ask for a little bit of respect and sympathy during a miscarriage. I will never come back here. And I advise that other women who are looking for a doctor who truly cares also do not come here. So very disappointing. read more

Place is beyond unprofessional. Anytime I call it's easily a 30 plus minute wait. The amount of screw ups they make should be illegal. Multiple times they've messed up my prescription which caused me to have to call back and wait over 30 mins just to talk to them. Then I have to drive back to the office and most of the times they don't even have my script ready. They made me wait in the hall previously for about 40 minutes while the doctor signed the script that I was told was ready for pickup. The staff does not care about you at all, they make there patients feel like a complete nuisance to them. read more

I have had Pam Difiorie NP as my primary care for years- she recently moved to Sturdy and I am so happy for her, the building is beautiful and she's even closer to me than she was before! I trust her with my life and I even have my elderly father scheduled to meet with her soon. She is an amazing communicator and really cares about the whole person. I can tell her anything and she actively listens with an open heart and mind. I wish there were more people like her in this world. I was really sick last year and she and I kept in touch the whole time trying to figure out what was going on, and even when I looked terrible at my appointment she gave me a giant hug and told me I would get through this. Which I did, and it took a while, but I felt very supported. To anyone who is complaining about wait times or the fact that she's "just an NP", I feel bad for your lack of patience and judgement- I'd rather have Pam and be forced wait in the freezing cold wearing nothing but a bathing suit for 6 hours than see an MD. (None of this has happened but you know what I mean) read more

With my first daughter my husband and I were treated very fairly. DeJesus Cruz was my doctor throughout. When it came to delivering my first she wasn't the one to be there. Now my second child I am on a medication and seem to be getting treated more rudely. DeJesus Cruz was not only rough with the speculum but also doesn't really listen to your needs or concerns. I have never had an OB be as rough as she was and spend a great deal of time down there on a simple pap smear. I wouldn't recommend this facility to others. read more

Been coming here for my primary care and now seeing OB for my first pregnancy. I drive all the way from Boston because of the car I receive. The new facility is updated and clean. It's great having offices in one place. I always am able to get an appointment when I call and most of the time same day if needed. Both offices have terrific reception staff. I only came here for Dr. DeJesus as she took care of my during my high risk pregnancy. She advocated for me to see specialists, a high risk OB, and maternal fetal medicine. She kept a close eye on me the entire time, ensuring to run extra tests and take every precaution. The high risk OB she sent me to was amazing, too. She performed an emergency C-section and it was thankfully uneventful with an average recovery. Like some of the other reviewers have said, she is a little "tough love" with things and had said to suck things up on numerous occasions. After my c section, I was disappointed to not see her again until the 6 week check up because I had questions that were unanswered and by the time I saw her, she had already forgotten about the experience to answer them in detail. I was nervous that there was no labor plan until 37 weeks, though. Dr. Rogalski took care of me after my c section and for the weeks following. He gave preventative antibiotics and watched some signs of infection I had closely, even seeing me on short notice himself after I came home. He was very caring, had great bedside manner, didn't mind if I asked simple or silly questions, and even referred me to a specialist when he thought someone could help me better (humble and wise). I wonder what it would have been like to have him my whole pregnancy. I only have three stars because in the beginning of my pregnancy, I felt written off by some of the nurses as just a "first time mom" when I had symptoms that turned out to be something more. That seemed to be the theme the whole first trimester and beginning of second trimester. I really had to advocate for myself if Dr. DeJesus wasn't caring for me. When I explained this to her, she made a note that I'd only see her from there on out. It was extremely difficult to get ahold of the doctor with staff acting as a wall between us trying to answer my questions themselves, but often weren't accurate in giving answers because I was high risk and needed special care. read more

Ok, I would have given 5 stars, but have been frustrated by the long wait at times....that said, through 2 pregnancies I have witnessed patients arrive LATE and still be accommodated. I would find it hard to believe that this doesn't impact the wait time for those of us who arrive on time. The practice really ought to address that. I mean, I have never been to a doctor that had anything less than a 15-20 minute wait. On one or two occasions I waited much longer than that and was peeved, but us pregnant gals to tend to be a little less patient to begin with. As far as cleanliness, I have never experienced the filth mentioned by at least one other reviewer. In fact, it has always been very clean. The practice has undergone at least 2 renovations in the time I have been going to them. The ONLY time I saw "black handprints" was when the new floors were being laid and the HALLWAY walls had handprints, from the CONTRACTORS. Dr. Llewellyn and her assistant Gail have always been very attentive and caring. I have been with them for 7 years, through two pregnancies and c-sections and now I will continue to stay with them with my current pregnancy. In fact, after my first, I moved an hour away and STILL stayed with them. THAT'S how strongly I feel about my experiences with the practice and Sturdy Memorial. I have complete trust in and respect for the medical care provided by the doctors at the practice. (Exept "Dr. MumblyOldMan", as one reviewer described who could only be Dr. Shroff) He is decidedly "old school" and his assumption that my weight gain was due to "too many sweets" was offensive. I laughed it off with the ultrasound tech, who informed me that Dr. Shroff (thick in the middle himself!) has a rather large sweet tooth. As far as the receptionists go, I have never been dissatisfied with their personalities whatsoever...upstairs OR downstairs...and I can only assume that the fishy smell described by another reviewer was perhaps left over from someone's lunch. Wow - this review is certainly longer than I intended, but when I went to look up their hours this morning I was SHOCKED to see a 2 star Yelp rating a few results down on the page. This practice gave me my 4 beautiful kids. I was an infertility patient that achieved pregnancy witha few short months of treatment. I had my daughter and two years later I had triplets. I had complications at the end that Dr Shroff managed well. I went full term and was very well cared for by all. These doctors give us healthy children, if u want shorter wait times, go to McDonald's. They are Ob docs , Gynecologists, and Surgeons. I appreciate all they did for me and my family. I will be forever greatfull! read more

I love this place. They gave me my two beautiful children. I had 2 C-sections with complications with my second one which they did an amazing job keeping me calm and delivering me a healthy baby. I had Dr. Dejesus and still have her as my OBGYN but the pressure the nurse and he her put on me about losing weight and hitting a gym cause I eat to much sweets was a bit much. I have psoriatic arthritis and am at the point were I am almost immobile. I am on a steroid to keep me being able to take my kids to school and go shopping etc. I was told to stay away from gyms but she did tell me about the Y for swimming classes I can take which was a big help. But she was heavy on the gym still. She told me 3 times "don't tell yourself "oh I'm I am fat I want to eat cake so it doesn't matter" tell yourself oh no I do not need that cake" ...... Ya that was a bit much and hurt my feelings. I never said I ate cake lol. But anyway it is good that they mention my weight issue but that was over doing it. .... Other then that they are great and have never had any issues with them. I have 2 amazing healthy kids and I have them to thank for that. About the waiting time ..... I wouldn't complain. A good place and or doctor .... Ya you will be waiting to see them. You want something fast go to a place where there aren't many patients which means..... They are not where you want to be. read more

I am confused by the negative reviews of this office, as I have only had very positive experiences here so far. I am pregnant with my first child and have been seeing Dr. DeJesus, I cannot say enough great things about her! She is so friendly and cheerful but is also straight-to-the-point and honest, which I appreciate. Her assistant is also wonderful and makes me feel very comfortable with each visit. I have never experienced the long wait times, but I always make my appointments very early in the morning so perhaps that's why. It is also worth mentioning that I have had 3 bladder infections (which are incredibly painful and require immediate attention) during this pregnancy and each time the nurse practitioner Carolyn Lipsky has seen me either the same day or the day after I call. My only negative experience has been with Dr. Digiovanni who, upon me describing my severe UTI pain (I know the pain and symptoms well as I have had many experiences over the years) basically brushed me off and said there was nothing he could do if I wasn't responding to the antibiotics. I had to basically beg him to write me another prescription. Other than one isolated incident, my experience with this office has been wonderful and I will most certainly see Dr. DeJesus for all pregnancies in the future read more

If I could give this office a 0 I would. I had been coming here since I was 18 years old up until this spring (I am now 24). For my normal yearly appointments, things were fine - not great, but fine for once a year. It was usually a fight to get my prescriptions re-filled and I always waited at least 20 minutes and dealt with incredibly cranky receptionists, but again, once a year was manageable. This year however, I decided to change doctors immediately. I had been sick for about 4 months with bad abdominal pain and my PCP told me to see my OB-GYN because my only change had been switching to a new birth control and she suspected endometriosis. After 2 appointments (with about 30 minutes of waiting time each) and an unprofessional and uncomfortable ultrasound, I was told I had nothing wrong with me. After asking the doctor directly if endometriosis was a possibility, I was practically laughed at, dismissed and told 'absolutely not.' For another 2 months my pain persisted and got continuously worse. I finally saw a specialist in Boston and was told I in fact do, absolutely, have endometriosis. Because of their lack of caring, poor attention to detail, and rushed atmosphere I was misdiagnosed and had to deal with excruciating pain, missed days of work, and risked the possibility of infertility. I have been a patient at this practice for almost 25 years now. I agree with the wait times getting excessive. For the most part my Dr has one of the shortest times thankfully but it can get ridiculous at times. Booking in the morning is always the best bet to avoid that problem before the back up begins. My Dr, Dr DiGiovanni has always been nothing but compassionate and informative. I have suffered through multiple ovarian surgeries, endometriosis and three pregnancy losses with him. And now I am 9 months pregnant and he has been nothing but fabulous through everything all these years. He is also a wonderful surgeon. Has taken the time to explain everything in great detail every time and my follow ups have always left me feel better about whatever issue it was I was going through. That said I find his nurse Diana pretty irritating at times. She can be gruff, not always sure of why I am there and a bit inconsiderate of my time. After waiting for an hour for my last appointment she barged in to the room twice to try to hurry him up since they were backed up. He had only been in the room with me for about 5 minutes if that. If I am going to wait and be understanding I better get my fair amount of time with him once I am in there. I have dealt with every other nurse in that practice at one point or another over the years and NONE of them are anything other then professional, knowledgable, considerate and just plain nice. I wish one of them would replace her and make my visits that more enjoyable. As for the front desk staff, they can get confused at times, I have learned to explain EVERYTHING to them with each phone call, visit etc. Let THEM know why you are there and repeat things as needed. My guess is they are just overwhelmed. The practice is incredibly busy. I have witnessed the bathrooms a bit messy, trash overflowing. Again always in the afternoon when things start to snowball out of control with volume. Otherwise I have never had an issue with cleanliness per say in the exam rooms. The ultrasound techs have always been great with me as well. No issues there and I have had a LOT of ultrasounds both planned and unplanned. read more

I have been going to this practice for my first pregnancy, and have been seeing Dr. Llewellyn. Dr Llewellyn is wonderful, and her nurse Gail is nothing short of AMAZING. However, the administration staff at this practice are TERRIBLE, hence the low rating! I have had a few complications over the past 9mo that required me to be referred to a specialist. Each time Dr. informed the admin staff that i was to see a specialist ASAP, and the staff informed me they would call me back later that day. They never call back, never follow up, and when they do finally return a message- frequently schedule the specialist appointments at least 2 weeks out. (Clearly against Dr's orders). I usually have better luck scheduling the follow up appointments on my own, and then just requesting the admin staff send along the appropriate paperwork. It is super frustrating to have pregnancy complications, let alone trying to work a 50-hr work week while trying to keep on top of the administrative staff. Overall, the medical staff is amazing, and the admin staff is outright painful to work with. read more

Where do I start? My first appointment with this OBGYN group "got lost" and they had no record of me or any of my information that I had given over the phone to them over 2 months before when I had called to make the appointment. My re-scheduled appointment was at 3pm (6 weeks later) and I arrived 20 minutes early to fill out new patient paperwork. At 3:40, I asked if I was going to be waiting much longer and the person at the desk said that "the board was never updated....so we overlooked you. Shouldn't be more than 15 minutes.". At 4:15 I was called into the examination room for my 6 minute pap. Four weeks later I found out that I was pregnant (my first) and called to get the confirmation blood work done and book a follow up with my new OBGYN doc. I was told that the lab would call me by the end of the day to book and the doc would book within the month. Never heard from them. This was right around Thanksgiving, and things were a bit busy at my house, so I decided I would call them the following week after the holiday. Well, I miscarried the night before Thanksgiving and went to the ER. The ER doc asked me to come back for blood work the day after thanksgiving and told me that the results would be communicated to me by the ON-CALL doctor at Attleboro OBGYN. I never heard from anyone. I called the ER and asked for the Doctor that helped me and he was shocked and embarrassed that no one had called me from this office. He apologized for them and gave me my results which confirmed my miscarriage. I don't think it could get any worse than this in regards to lack of professionalism and care for a patient. Just found out that I'm pregnant again and I'm searching for a new OBGYN that isn't remotely associated with this group. If I could have given them a 0, I would have. read more

Went here for an IUD even though I have never had children. My doctor told me that she had done this before with positive results. Needless to day it was the most painful experience I gave ever been through, and had to have it removed 6 months later due to complications, cone to find out the had inserted a generic IUD that had not been approved by the FDA yet they charged my insurance company for the name brand IUD. read more

I've been to this group for the past 5 years, and through 2 pregnancies... In response to all f the neg reviews, let me first say I agree that there is often a long wait... But the staff is truly supportive, attentive, and helpful! Gail is my drs nurse, and she has gone above and beyond to make me feel comfortable and cared for.. She has also always treated my children with care and has even brought them to the restroom, given them lolipips, And helped me w them while I was waiting to see the dr... Both gail and the ultrasound techs have treated me more like a friend than a patient and have always been professional and caring! As for Dr L, she delivered my children via c section... She was attentive to my concerns, professional and caring. I believe this practice is worth the wait!:) read more

I don't understand why the doctors upstairs are so prompt yet the nurses downstairs can't keep to a reasonable wait time. I'm waiting over a half an hour for a 10 minute (if that) appointment. The receptionists and Nurses at this practice are rude and incompetent. No wonder they got all bad reviews! I can't believe I almost decided to give them another chance. When I called to see if I could get an appointment I was told I had an overdue bill and they transferded me to someone who was extremely rude and told me that I could not make an appointment until I called their collections company and paid my bill in full! Apparently they do not care at all about patients health and only want their money! Furthermore the bill in question is in collections because they billed it to my insurance company with the wrong code and the insurance company rejected it, so instead of fixing it they just sent me the bill instead. Would not go back to this OB-GYN ever! My wife had little bleeding on a Friday night and lady doctor told us to wait till Monday as their office is closed now and if the baby survives this trauma, we will know on Monday anyways. As per her, it was 50 - 50 chance. Me and wife couldn't sleep or eat that night and first thing we did in morning was go in to emergency (which as per the doctor will be waste of money). First thing emergency doctor mentioned is atleast 30% of women have little early bleeding and once scan was done, everything came back as normal. I am amazed at how someone can easily tell you to wait till Monday to know whether your first child survives or not.. I can't get over it still. read more

While I think Dr. Giovanni, is a fine doctor, this practice/staff is the most unprofessional and negligent medical group I have ever experienced. First, the wait times are horrendous and there is always a full waiting room, it is very obvious they overbook. I called the office at least 3 times to get a prescription refill, the prescription was never refilled and I was not called back even though I requested a call numerous times. I could not believe they would be so negligent with patient safety that way. When I requested my medical records so I could be adequately treated by another doctor, they only gave me my records from their office. When I asked where my previous doctors records were that I gave to them when I moved to MA from out of state 2 years prior, they told me they only use them as a "reference" if "necessary" and they didn't have them since the "didn't need them". AKA they THREW THEM OUT! I was floored, how could you not need a patients medical history!? I wouldn't recommend this office to my worst enemy, they are totally incompetent and have no regard for their patients. read more

PA Barbara Baxter is excellent -- friendly, careful and caring. I've been going for a few years and had consistently good check-ups with her. I do occasionally wait for other physicians or PAs but haven't had to wait for her. Trish in reception is also very nice. MUST READ... I am only giving this practice one star only due to one of their doctors; Dr. Barbara Stricker. I never had any appointments with her during my pregnancy thank God, when my doctor which Dr. Di Giovanni, the nicest most professional Dr. ever, could not see me, I saw the other doctors in the practice. Unfortunately when it came time for me to give birth, Dr. Stricker was the one available at the hospital (Sturdy Memorial Hospital), I have never met her before and boy what a bad first impression, she walked in all in a rush, abruptly inserted the speculum inside me in order to check how far dilated I was. For a woman, I was shocked at how insensitive and rough she was, she never took her time, always doing things in a rush and very mechanical-robotic as if I wasn't a human being with feelings, and whenever I complained of pain since she was so rough, she would tell me that it wasn't that bad as if she was the one going through the pain of labor...that woman is completely desensitized by her profession, she was a total B**** the entire time, I just laid there crying due to her demeanor, you'd think she'd be nicer since I was alone, but nope, it made her think that she could treat me like trash, to demean me. If you ever go there, request eithe Dr. Di Giovanni or Dr. De Jesus, they are both very polite and professional, and will treat you with the respect and care you deserve. read more

Dr. DeJesus is the only good thing about this practice. Unfortunately I had Dr. Llewellyn as my Doctor at my delivery. She was the most rude, insensitve and uncaring person I have ever met. I had a natural birth and she made it clear that she was not happy about it. She basically ruined my birth experience. This was the worst experience I have ever had at a doctors office. Every appointment I had ran an hour to two hours late. Not to mention that midway through my pregnancy my insurance provider was switched, I gave them my information, and they said I was all set. Two months later I was told they didn't take that provider and I was responsible for a $500 ultrasound. I was also told they never should have admitted me without the proper insurance, but too bad it's done now. I am now being harassed by a collection agency. The receptionists are all extremely rude an unapologetic about the appointments being absurdly late and about everything else. When I went in to get my HIV and STD test early the nurse laughed at me for being concerned and wanting the test done early. Another nurse told me if I gain more than 25 pounds she was going to sew my mouth shut. I'm not kidding. My doctor was also very cold and impersonal, and was also NEVER THERE. Out of my entire pregnancy I saw her 5 times. I was warned about this place before I went, and I so wish I had listened. This was my first pregnancy and they made it very unpleasant, when going to your doctor should be an exciting time for an expectant mother. read more

My doctor is very nice. However, I waited an excessive amount of time at each prenatal visit. They appear to have a policy of overbooking. Now that my pregnancy is long past, if I call to make an appointment for my annual exam, there's a six-month wait to see my doctor. Yet, she's still accepting new patients. When I had a problem that needed to be addressed immediately, they had no one that could see me for at least two weeks - I ended up having to go to a walk-in clinic. This year when I called to make my annual exam, they looked up the last date I had been there, and booked me for a little over a year later. Unfortunately, they got the dates wrong. I took an afternoon off from work, arranged for childcare, checked-in and sat down in the waiting area. I was then called back up to the registration desk and informed that my last visit was only 11 months ago, and my insurance would not cover that day's exam. I had to leave and come back a month later. I think the doctors and staff are very nice here, but it simply does not make up for their complete disrespect for their patients' time. When I was pregnant with my first, my appointments got "lost" in the system more than once. This included the anatomy scan appointment which my husband had left work early for, and we were supposed to find out the gender of our baby, only to be told we weren't scheduled that day and the ultrasound techs had already left for the day. I understand it could have been pregnancy brain, but they wrote all my appointments down on a card for me! I also always had to wait about an hour for my scheduled appointments. I was going to change doctors after my first child, but after Dr Stricker did a fantastic job on my c-section, I changed my mind. Then I had a miscarriage, after trying for 6 months, and the whole experience was despicable. At the 8 week ultrasound the nurse casually told me that the fluid was low and my baby had a 50/50 chance, then treated my like i was crazy for worrying and why did i have tears in my eyes. I did everything I could to try and keep the baby, but still ended up bleeding all of Christmas vacation. When they had me come in for the next ultrasound the baby was already gone and they made me wait in the waiting room while someone was found that would talk to me. Dr deJesus talked to me and literally said "so youve already had a miscarriage, that sucks" and laughed. FREAKING LAUGHED. I'm sure they deal with this on a daily basis and it doesn't seem like a big deal to them, but to me I had already been loving that baby for a month and a half and I was devastated. The nurse practitioner, Carolyn Lipsky, is much better, and on a different occasion sat and talked with me, but this was at an appointment that I scheduled because I was having some depression and hormonal issues. No one ever followed up with me after the miscarriage, and they are just generally insensitive and I won't go back there. read more

I was recommended to OB/GYN Associates of Attleboro by a family friend who was seen there during her pregnancy. I am 20+ weeks pregnant and just moved to area for work. I have private insurance and was told that I could not be seen until "staff reviewed" my chart from my previous provider to determine whether I was a "high risk patient". Even though I informed that front desk staff that it had benn 5 weeks since my last session and I was due for an ultrasound. The front desk staff and the triage nurse both said "you are not a patient and you should go to a local ER" for services. So even thought I have insurance and I have have a document from my previous OB/GYN indicating a summary of services/ appointments including lab results and MD notes from my previous provider. The staff was rude and uncaring. I could not believe that professionals at an OB/GYN office who are supposed to provide care for pregnant women have a policy that a woman cannot be seen until after they have determined whether the person is "high risk". Clearly this is not a mater of insurance, so is this is a matter to liability? The staff would even schedule an appointment for me. So, what if I was "high risk"? What if there was an issue with my baby that an appointment could have discovered? Cleary, this agency does not care what happens to women or their unborn children. I was turned away, refused services and I could not believe this is due to an agency policy. I cannot understand a policy that turns away a person in need and advises them to go to the ER. I think this agency should revise this policy as it is potentially detrimental to the well being of baby and mother. read more

I'm 7 months along with my pregnancy and am just waiting to pop the kid out so I never have to go back to this practice again. Today I was still waiting at 10:35 for my 10:10 appointment. I told reception I couldn't wait any longer and I had to leave - like most people, I don't have the luxury of rotting in a waiting room watching the HG Network for hours at a time until the doctor gets around to my scheduled appointment. The receptionist was rude and did not apologize for the holdup. My previous appointment as an ultrasound piggybacked onto a doctor appointment. I was kept waiting 20 minutes for the ultrasound. I walked up and informed the desk staff that I had another appointment upstairs in less than ten minutes. The (different) rude receptionist said "Oh that doesn't matter." I said "Actually, it DOES matter, to ME, because I have other places to be today." Two seconds later the ultrasound tech comes out... and she's rude to me too. My doctor is fine, and I like my nurse, but I'm disgusted by the way I'm treated by their support staff. read more

I regret ever coming to this place. Half of the staff is rude and cold. Only some are nice and caring. You will always wait!!! Just today, I had a same-day appointment because of hives during pregnancy. I waited nearly an hour and a half before telling the receptionist I could wait no longer... I have another child to get from school. Her response was "okay, you're all set". Seriously??? Not even an apology. I walked out and cried. Now, I have to wait until Friday and live with these hives until then. I hope nothing worse happens by then! I really wish there was another practice close by that takes my insurance because I'd be out of there in a heart beat. Oh -- and I can't forget to mention this last point -- I've seen one of the nurses there two times and on both occasions, I needed to have a speculum done (or pap). Both times, she physically hurt me when inserting the speculum... like she was trying to make another hole down there somewhere. She apologized the first time... but not the second time. I figured it wouldn't happen a second time. Boy, I was wrong. I know that since I have to stay with this group until I move or switch insurance, I will never want to see that nurse again. I really hate and despise coming to this practice and it has now made my second pregnancy less joyful. read more
