The tree was in a sad state and we were fearful that one of the large limbs would break in high winds resulting in a tremendous amount of damage to our house. We consulted with three arborists, and they all agreed the tree should be removed, but only one of them had a crane large enough to do the job and that was Nick's tree service. This was not an inexpensive project. It was just under $11k. But I cannot speak highly enough of the speed and quality of work that Nick's tree service provided. It took them less than three hours to completely remove this tree. And after they had cut, chipped, swept, and left. You would've never known they were even here, except of course, for the huge hole in our deck where the tree used to be. Against my better judgement, I gave them a check. As you have probably guessed, I have never seen them again. When I contacted them again to ask about completion of the job, this time she said they were leaving town because of an emergency. This started in April, it is now August. I wanted landscaping. Most of the time, the only way we would know they had been is they ring the doorbell and let us know they are starting work. All of our trees that they have serviced have never looked better. We were afraid we were going to loose our ash tree, but after a couple years of feeding and an initial trimming of the tree, it now is full of green healthy leaves, instead of the sickly wrinkled leaves it usually had by August. Their arborist recommended a clean out of our lacebark elm, which we thought looked okay. Since they had never steered us wrong before, we told them to proceed. One day we returned home after a day out, and noticed right away that the elm looked a lot better than it had. We B Trees had come while we were gone, cleaned out the problem branches, and cleaned up their mess and left.
